I just
wanted to say that when I get lost in my selfish thoughts or ways of
doing things, that I will think of you Ben because when I do you help me
to realize what is important in this life, you help me to see beyond the
things of this world, you give me a glimpse of what is to come, and you
give me hope. I know that we've never met, but I want to thank you Ben.
I don't go to church like I should, and I don't pray like I should, and
I don't read my bible like I should, but your strength and courage have
made me realize that I need to get my act together and start living like
I should. So I just want to say Thank you for sharing your story and for
opening my eyes.

Tom,Jennifer,Eli, and Big Ben, I received my wristband this week and
proudly wear it along with the Breast Cancer band I bought following my
own Mother's treatment for that disease last year. So many illnesses in
this world, so much pain and suffering at times, yet we as Christians
know this is all temporary and there are wonderful things to look
forward to. Although I pray for your family daily, it really touched my
heart to hold that blue band in my hand and think of what this project
has done to inspire others to join the fight against this illness. I
also purchased bands for my sister, daughter, and neice, all teens. When
I told my daughter our bands had arrived, they immediately came home to
put them on. WOW! Even teenagers, wrapped up in all their drama (and at
times selfishness), are moved by Ben's story, and to see them want to
show support through prayers and the wristband project is a blessing in
itself. God is sending blessings to so many people who have learned of
Big Ben's story, many you may never know of. It is happ

It is
happening all around you. Also, the love and faith in Christ which have
been a constant throughout your experiences with your son motivate
others to trust more, appreciate more, and believe in that greater place
than anything we will experience in our lifetime here on Earth. We know
God never gives us more than we can handle, but there are times when we
can't help but wonder why God has so much faith in US. Just keep
believing that God has a bigger plan and better days in store for Big
Ben than what you have been experiencing recently. I pray you continue
to have unfaltering faith in what God's plan is, even if things are hard
to understand and the battle is tough right now. Prayers to you all for
peace, comfort, rest, and pain-free days for Big Ben. We love you all!

Bowens, I continue to pray for Ben and your family. I pray that Ben's
pain will be eased and he will be at peace. I pray for You (Tom) and

My heart
is in so much pain after reading your latest update. I'm so sad to hear
that Ben's pain medications were building up and becoming toxic to his
little body. I've been following Ben's story and I can't imagine
someone's life not being changed by Ben's story. I believe that I've
been living a changed life since being touched by Ben's story. I
received my Big Ben band in the mail yesterday. I was so excited! I
ripped open the envelope and put the band on my arm right then and
there. I wear it proudly ... I'm so pleased to hear that so much money
has been raised to fight this disease (in Ben's Honor). I think of you
many times during the day - and will keep you in my prayers. I hope you
are able to get some much needed rest. Praying for your family, your
friends and your caregivers - thank you for the specific prayer
suggestions.

received our BIG BEN bands yesterday. I must have glanced down to mine
100 times today. At which time, I thanked God for my kids and asked HIM
to care for Ben and all the families at St. Jude's. Tom, Jennifer, Eli-
