You have
to be one of the best moms in the world. I have a 15 month old little
boy and he is great. Just the thought of something happing to him rips
my heart out. Ben is lucky to have great parents and alot of people that
love him. Every time i here about him i have tears in my eyes. i hope
Ben and everyone that loves and cares about him stay's strong. God bless

I have
experienced the great emotional toll of having to manage the pain of a
loved one during their final time here on earth. Each time I had to
administer the pain medication I had to ask God to give me the courage
to do so and to remove the fear that I would do something to make the
situation worse. I believe he heard each and every prayer. My husband
told me we would learn something about ourselves while traveling our
journey. I did and continue to do so - I belive that is God's way of
preparing us for our lives without our loved one. You are experiencing
the most intimate form of love on this earth - to help Ben leave this
world and join his creator. Cherish it. While your pain will be great
(even though you can not fathom how it can be worse), you will begin a
new kind of relationship with Ben - One Day at a Time. God Bless you
both, your family and friends.

Bowen Family: I was very fortunate to purchase a "Big Ben" bracelet
today at the Hallmark store/Htgn Mall; one for myself and one for a
friend. As I went to through the mall, several people stopped to ask
where I got the "Big Ben" bracelet; I told them and they knew about
"Bens Story" and related to me how they knew your family. I went to
"Borders Bookstore" to meet a friend, again, strangers ask me about the
bracelet and one person, who is very special to our family, Chad Brown,
our friend and "VET", the best, our dogs deserve no less! Chad had just
bought he and his wife "Big Ben" bracelets too and expressed how he
knows your family and we spoke how it is amazing that Ben's Story has
touched and changed so many lives; this is the "UP" side of such a
tragic situation. It is great comfort knowing the love that BEN is
surrounded with during this time, it is truly a "LOVE STORY." Although
we've never met, you all are heroes in my eyes and I will continue to
pray for peace and comfort for all of you. Sincere

Big Ben
and Bowen family, I have been so drawn to yuor website since this
incredibly long journey began. I feel as though Ben is in some way a
part of my family. I feel like I know all of you so well after reading
updates for months. I am astounded by how tough the little guy is and so
saddened by hearing how horrible the pain has become. I had a personal
experience with losing a family member to cancer and watching him suffer
for over a year was just awful. You feel so helpless. I do pray that God
keeps his arms around all of you and makes this a little easier every
day knowing Ben will not be suffering when he "runs to Jesus". I lost my
Dad 3 months ago, and my peace is to know he is not suffering any more.
I am anxiously waiting for my Big Ben armband to show my support and
love for him. I will proudly wear it right beside my Lance Armstrong

your website and Ben's story through Allie Scott's website. I have been
drawn to the incredible strength your family has shown through this

This
morning during my quiet time, I struggled with God's allowing Ben to
suffer so much. Placing that pain against Ben's fighting spirit, I
realized that Ben is once again teaching us how we are to fight evil.
Ben is fighting the ugliness of cancer while still rejoicing---the
smiles, the twinkling eyes, the "tickle, tickle" moments. He has given
and is giving so much love to everyone he encounters; even those at St.
Jude's marvel at his sunny disposition. Isn't this then how we are to
behave in this world? Ben is teaching us to love, but at the same time
to fight Satan and his evil with all our might. Once again Larry and I
are learning profound lessons from a two-year-old child. Thank you, Ben!

Dear
Bowens, I think of you often & wish you peace & comfort always. Not
everyone has gone through exactly what you are, but many of us have
known the horrible effects of cancer--either for ourselves or a loved
one. As awful as cancer is, I believe there is a "positive" aspect of
it. In 1996, my grandpa died unexpectedly of a heart attack. His funeral
was one on the saddest I have ever attended. A year later my grandmother
was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Her stomach was immediately removed,
and she also began chemo. She bravely battled for a year, as we
literally watched her wither away. During that time, she & my family
experienced some of the most touching & memorible times of all our
lives. She passed away in 1998. Her funeral was totally different. There
was such a peace & happiness knowing that the suffering had stopped and
that she was in Heaven. I am thankful that the Lord gave us time to say
our goodbye's and be with her as she went "home". God surely knows what

Family - My heart is aching that Big Ben is suffering in this way...I
pray that his doctors will be able to manage his meds with wisdom and
courage and that Ben's body will except them and through this he will
have total comfort. And I hope and pray that you guys are able to get
some well deserved and needed rest. Eli I wish I lived close enough to
you to come take you for a day of fun. You are such a great brother and
I'm so sorry that you are having to see this monster taking your little
brother away from you. Tom and Jennnifer I am continually in awe of what
