I just
wanted to let you know how much you have affected my life. Everytime my
18 month old does ANYTHING, I think of you and I kiss him AGAIN and say
a little prayer for you. I have to say I have never prayed for anyone as
much as I have prayed for Ben, someone I've never even met. That just
goes to prove how special he is. I check your websight every night and I
am amazed at your courage and strength to go through what your going
through and take time out to keep others informed.

there to say? This is so not fair. Please God, bring peace back into
this poor family's life. Bring comfort to Ben. Give the doctors, nurses,
Tom, & Jennifer wisdom and endurance to get through this. Please wrap
your arms around Eli and be with him. God please perform a miracle

I just
read your latest update on Ben. My heart aches for all of you. I do pray
that he doesn't have pain. You are a remarkable family. Eli, remember
there are a lot of people thinking of you and praying for you, Mommy,
Daddy and Ben. It sounds like you are a great brother. Ben is lucky to
have you. Your faith in God will help you through. I look at that

My heart
breaks as I read the latest update on Big Ben. I pray for God to let him
be pain free and for you and Jennifer to get some much needed rest, and
to guide you through this trying time that no parent should have to
face. Ben has touched more lives than anyone I know. Thank God for this
child. I can't imagine what the family is going through, but through
your faith you have made me a better person. Eli is such a strong
brother. I pray God will help his little mind and heart to deal with all
he has had to see. I will be praying for all of you. God says he will
never put on us any more than we can bare, but we sure wonder sometimes.
Thank God he's only a prayer away for us to turn to him in our deepest
hour of need. God bless you all. Ben, sweet Ben, what a special little
boy you are. The world loves you and so do I. I received my wrist band
and I'm wearing it with much pride & love. Thank You.

So many
times in these past few days, it so difficult to find words that will
encourage your family and all who care for Ben. Our love and prayers are
committed to you, and yet they seem so insignificant and inadequate when
compared to the heavy burden that you are enduring in these moments. Our
lives will never be the same; walking this road with you has altered our
path in ways we could never have imagined. Our desires and future are
guided by Christ alone, not by our past egocentric focus. The individual
stories of all four Bowens have allowed us to examine our own lives and
hopefully to become more than we thought we could be, but more like God
planned us to be. Right now, we just plead with God to take away both
the physical and emotional pain you four are suffering. Loving you more
in every moment.

Dear Ben,
You are an amazing little man. You are truly an inspiration to us all. I
don't know many adults that could take all the pricks and prods and
surgeries that you have had to go through. Your family and friends...I
would say the whole world...is blessed to know you...to be touched by
you. I pray for your parents and your brother too. I know this must be
difficult for them to watch you continue to be sick. Know that they love
you so much...we all do. Prayers continue to flood heaven for your
comfort. I don't know what tomorrow brings for any of us, but I still

everyday, and a lot our students are wearing BIG BEN bracelets in his
