Dearest
Bowens, Thank you for sharing your darkest moments with us. I hurt so
badly for your loss, but am praising God that little Ben no longer
suffers and is with Him at this very moment. What a comfort to know he's
in Heaven! But this journey is a long way from over for the rest of you,
and because of this, I'll will be in continuous prayer for all of you. I
will especially be remembering Eli in all of this. He has taught me so
many lessons throughout this entire process. I have four new and special
heroes in my life - their names are Ben, Eli, Jennifer and Tom. I pray

Dearest
Bowens, please accept our sincere condolences today. Ben is now our
precious angel in Heaven and is smiling down upon us. As the
arrangements are today and tomorrow, I pray for peace and love for you
Tom, Jen, and Eli. May the Lord just wrap his loving arms around you. As
I watched WOWK-13 news and their special little tribute to Ben Friday
night, my heart broke. Four months has gone by since you visited our
church in Chapmanville and since that day I just have held your family
so close at heart. I've been on this website everyday since then. I
proudly wear my wristband in memory of Ben. I will miss Big Ben and his
smiling face. He sure was a special little boy. Although he is no longer
with us, his legacy will live forever in our hearts. Eli give lil'
brother lots of hugs and kisses for me. I was hoping to drive down to
the service, but due to the weather conditions now I'm afraid I won't
get to make it. Please know Ben's story has deeply touched our lives and

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, and Eli: Although I am saddened that Ben is no longer
physically here on earth, I am so enlightened to know that he is now in
Heaven and he is no longer suffering. I know that it's hard...you're so
happy that he's not hurting anymore, yet you miss him so much that it's
difficult not to wish he was still here. Love on Eli so much and I know
you are so grateful that you were blessed with little "Big Ben". You are
all in my thoughts in prayers - keep on doing a wonderful job with being
strong and faithful.

me sad and when I heard that you died I was cring. You will stay in all

thank you for making me a better person - I was never honored by meeting
you - but I feel I can hear your sweet little voice praising at the feet
of our King! Sing on sweet one - sing on! Bowen Family - thank you for
making me a better person - with great humilty and courage you opened
your life to all who wanted in - you proved that it is all about God - I
think of Job and how satan tried to make him turn from God - but even at
his lowest - Job turned and praised God - thank you for being a modern
day Jobs. I pray that God continues drawing you close - let God be your

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, & Eli: I'm writing this message with a heavy heart. I'm so
very sorry to hear of Ben's passing. Know that he has finally won his
battle with this terrible disease. He has inspired so many people - both
those he knew personally and those who 'met' him through his website.
I'm wearing my Big Ben wristband as I type these words. Know that Ben

say sooooo sorry about Ben. Bless he heart. Me will send u family w/lots
of prayers. Me is only 36 @ age 33 had a stroke & be diagnois w/MS so me
do know about the suffering & it hurts. This brings tears cause he could
have had a wonderful life. Me also have had cancer 3x's now wondering if

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, and Eli, I pray for peace for you today as you prepare for the
visitation services for Ben. My life was changed by Ben's story, and I
would like nothing more than to be there today and tomorrow.
Unfortunately, I was in Huntington last week for the passing of my
grandfather and cousin, so another trip home is not an option. Please
know that I will be praying for grace for the moment as you welcome so
many who were touched by your son. I have peace knowing that Ben ran to
Jesus and he is the loving arms of our Savior. Your family is a
testimony of how God can work through us here on Earth. I appreciate you

to read that Ben is no longer with you but he is now resting in the arms

wanted to let you know that Rainbow Elementary School in Madison, AL
made a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital last week in Ben's
honor. Our final Math A Thon total was $5025.00. Our sixth graders also
collected an additional $400.00 in Ben's honor.

My heart
breaks for you all this morning. I am so sorry for your loss. Ben has

I am so
sorry. I wish there were more I could offer you. Knowing that Ben is no
longer in pain has to be comforting but missing his physical presence
must be agonizing. I pray for Eli - his little buddy is gone. I pray for
you and Jennifer - you baby boy is gone. I am angry and saddened and
heartbroken. The picture you have on the page with Ben looking over your
shoulders is precious. Thank you for sharing it with us. Ben has touched
and changed my life. I stop and appreciate my girls so much more. Plus,
he has brought me closer to God. I used to question His existence when I

what happend to Ben is sad because he never really got a chance to know
life but it sounds like he lived the best parts of his life already.Bens
story will touch peoples hearts and make them want to take part in

I am so
very sorry about your loss and you have my deepest sympathy. On a
brighter note, I had cancer when I was Ben's age and I can guarantee you
that he is no longer suffering and is smiling down on you. As a
childhood cancer survivor, I have been planning on a fund raising
project that will raise money to purchase Christmas gifts for our area
children that are in the hospital with cancer during the holiday, so
that they can have a nice Christmas without mom and dad having to worry
about expense. With your permission, I would like to dedicate this fund
raising event to the memory of Ben to help keep his memory alive. He
gave us all so much. Even those who did not know him personally. This
way, Ben can give to other area children still fighting the battle with

your story through my counsin Haley's website. She passed away in August
of last year. I have been following your story for awhile now and even
though I never got the pleasure to meet Ben he became part of my heart.

heard about big ben a couple of months ago, but my heart gose out to his
