Big Ben
mom and dad are right if you see Jesus run and have fun! Tom and
Jennifer that was the right thing to say to Ben. Just remember alot of
people have been touched not only emotionally but spiritually as well.

Ben's
strength, of course, is being recorded in heaven's unchangeable heart.
We can't possibly know how he feels, we can't possibly know his pain. I
would bet there are a few of us out here who would take the pain and
carry it for him for awhile, if we could. Ben is giving us a gift by his
strength. He is teaching us bravery and endurance and courage. Love is
in his smile. I pray for this child's comfort, I pray he feels the soft
hand of peace relax his brow and ease his suffering, and I pray that his
family continues to be the brave and amazing people they are, and I wish
them comfort too. Let's collectively give our prayerful energy to Ben.
This, we can do for him.

continue to pray for peace, comfort and rest for Ben (and each of you).
I pray that God will take his pain away and hold Ben (and each of you)in
his arms. No child has ever touched my heart in the way that Ben has
touched mine. Your family's faith, courage and stength has been an
inspiration to me and my family. I hold each of you close to my heart
and I'm so thankful that you all have shared your story with us. I will
never stop praying for your family.

My dad
died two years ago after 3 months in the hospital in intensive care. I
remember the night that we said similar words to him. Your family's
strength is amazing. Most people live their entire lifetime and don't
touch nearly as many lives as Big Ben has touched in such a short time.
It hurt me to know that some were being critical thinking that you had
given up on a miracle. I believe that death can be Ben's "miracle". In
all of this it has been obvious that you turned Ben over to God a long
time ago. I pray for you daily, asking God to keep you strong and have
mercy on Big Ben! In Christian love.

Dear Tom
and Jennifer, I am from Minden, Louisiana, the largest contributor per
capita to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It is also the hometown
of Stanton Haynes, a sweet little angel who died on Feb. 13, one day shy
of his fourth birthday. Like Ben, his story reached across the world,
and touched people's hearts. Through his guestbook, I am "visiting" a
lot of families who are dealing with neuroblastoma and other cancers.
These children are true gifts from God, and it hurts so much to see them
go through the pain. It is so hard to see the good side of it, which is
MAKING PEOPLE AWARE that you aren't promised tomorrow, and that EVERY
DAY is precious. I am more patient with my own two sons, and I strive
harder every day to be the best mother and person that I can be. I am so
sorry for what your family is going through. I pray for Ben and for your
family. He is absolutely amazing. I can just see his sweet little face,
taking that horrible medicine, and innocently saying, "thank you" to his
