My cousin
who lost his 3 year old son 13 years ago (it seems like yesterday) had
some wise words. When they were standing over Mikey's bed he said that
he knew that Mikey would be healed and be home with his Father, and it
was in God's hands wether or not it was his earthly father or his
heavenly Father. But he knew that Mikey would be in his Father's arms.
It took great strength for him to truly release his son to God. I am a
parent now and the words he spoke mean so much more to me now. His son
died shortly after that and my cousin's faith remained strong. All of us
have a certain amount of time here and it is up to us to do with it the
best we can. Some fulfill their purpose in a much shorter time than
others and we can't understand why it is this way but we just have to do
the best with what we have. The love you have for Ben is his comfort and
he will go to be with his Father when it is time. We pray for release
from the pain and for a quick and peaceful transition from this life. I
pray for God's peace to surround

My mom
works with Bens grandma and she tells me all the updates on Ben and how
he is doing. I have one of his braclets and a lot of my friends want

Hello,
Bowens. Still thinking of and praying for you and Ben. A song came on
the radio a few minutes ago and every time I hear it, I think of you,
Tom and Jennifer. It's "Voice of Truth" by Casting Crowns. The chorus
says, "But the voice of truth tells me a different story; The voice of
truth says, 'Do not be afraid!' The voice of truth says, 'This is for My
glory' Out of all the voices calling out to me I will choose to listen
and believe the voice of truth." The two of you have been so faithful
and so focused on the voice of truth. I am praying for your continued
strength and faith during these indescribable days, and in those that
lie ahead. And I will continue to pray for peace and comfort for Ben, as
