Hello, I
have been following your story for the year. I work with several speech
therapists who know Jennifer. My prayers have been with you and your
family. It is so hard to watch those we love suffer in pain. I did this
with my mother, and it is heart breaking. I am so sorry that you are
going through this. Maybe God will relieve the pain soon and will cradle
Ben in his arms as well as comfort you and your family. God is so strong
and he is working in your life and all through the world with the Ben
story. This is just the beginning of the impact Ben has made in the
world. You are so blessed to have had him as your son, and what a
sacrifice you are living. God knew you could handle this. Ben will live
on through the many lives he has touched and changed. You will see
someday that God gave you this gift and that thousands have benefitted

I think
of your family many times during the day. Your story has touched me so
deeply... Eli - you are the best big brother that Ben could ask for -
and I feel so bad that you are having to see your younger brother suffer
and fade away. I know that this is very scary for you. Please try to
think of and remember Ben as he was at Disney ... always keep those

Never ceasing end. How things can be done when there is someone with a
purpose. God is good and He is great and He never makes mistakes. Yes,
Ben is in much pain and so great is the heartache for all that love and

I hadn't
checked out Ben's pictures for sometime, cuz it just brings me to tears.
But, I went and looked.. and I have got to say Ben is one of the cutest
kids I have ever seen in my life. His smile brightens up my world, but
my heart just breaks at the same time. I promised myself after Allie I
wouldn't get so attached again, but I did, and Ben is such a inspiration
to me. The strength you all show, is just amazing. I know you are dying
inside, but to let us in your life, and post to let us know what is
happening, is justs.. I am just speechless. You all will forever be in
my thoughts and prayers, and Bens smile will always be engraved in my
mind. I wish that noone had to suffer. Big Ben, Eli and mom and dad, you
are just amazing people. This should not be happening.. It is so sad. It
breaks my heart. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers for many

for you all as I printed off your last few updates and sent them with my
2 sons to take to school. They go to a wonderful school in Biddeford
Maine, The Masters House, and all the children and teachers have been
praying. Thank you so much for your constant faith in our Lord. And for

As I sit
here and watch my 3 year old daughter play..I truely understand how
blessed I am..not only for her health...but for the fact that a little
man named Ben Bowen was born. Ben's life is not only about his illness
it is about the works that he has done..it amazes me that this little
guy has done more to bring people together in faith and hope then most
grown men spend their entire lives trying to do. As I read the entries
in his guestbook I am in awe of the powerful messages of
faith,hope,love,compassion and determination. Does anyone even realize
the impact that Ben has had on this world? How wonderful it will be when
Eli grows older and says, "yes, Big Ben was my brother..and look at his
great works." How wonderful it will be when the Lord calls us all home
and we see this little feller sitting with our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank
you to the entire Bowen family for sharing Ben with us...Thank you for

I'm not
quite sure what to say. I just wish there was some sort of cheerful
comment but there isn't. I sit here each night looking through this
beautiful sitet with tears streaming down my face. I've learned so much
from you guys. You are an amazing family and the ones who know you
