I pray
the Lord will give you strength during this hard time in your lives. My
heart goes out to you as you let your little angel go. My daughter also
is with the Lord, she was 17 years old and was killed in a car accident.
I believe she will also be waiting to welcome Ben with open arms. She
loved to play with little ones and wanted to be a teacher. A friend
asked me one day, if my daughter was offered a vacation in paradise with
no pain or tears FOREVER would I let her go. I struggled for selfish
reasons but after I thought about it I said I would let her go. So they
will be there together with Jesus waiting for the day that we can

I know we
have signed your guestbook once already, but since we heard of the story
we cant't get Ben off our minds, know that we are thinking of you all
and praying for you daily. We have 5 beautiful children of our own, the
last was a set of twin, a boy and girl. They are now 18 months old.
About a month or so ago we were refered to UK to a developmental rehab
doctor they seem to think the little boy has cerebral palsy. We know
that the lord does things for a reason but it is so tough to see this
happening to one you love so much. The positive side of it is he has
learned to adapt to it so far, the rough part is they say it can
progress, I pray that it doesn't. I can't imagine, so far you would not
even realize he had it if the doctors would not have told it. He has a
PT, OT and a Speech theraphyist that works with him weekly from birth to
three, they are great! It hurts us to see that this happen, we wonder
sometimes why not us!! WE will be thinking of you daily!!

Jennifer, Eli and Big Ben, You influence is huge, but not as huge as you
strength and faith in God. My 2 boys and I start every school day in
prayer and your family remains at the top of our prayer list. Though
none of you deserve this, God is so good and His blessings are new
everyday. Only He can know your true feelings and only He loves Ben as
much as you. Rest today in His love and care. Ben has enabled you to

Bowen Family; I have come to this web page so many times, but have been
so overcome with emotion that I have never been able to leave a message
for you, Big Ben and your family. Ben, you precious baby angel, you
sweet baby boy, this is just the beginning for you, not the end. You all
will be together again one day, and I hope that I will one day be able
to meet you, too. Your smiling face has been such an inspiration to all
of us, and in such a short time here on this earth, you have begun a
wonderful legacy that very few people will ever accomplish in their
entire lives. We take so much for granted, and it has made me realize
even more than ever how precious my children and my grandson are to me.

and Jennifer, I just finished reading your update from 2/14 and I read
only what i had expected. We all beleive that God is a merciful God.
That doesn't mean that he will always remove the disease that ails us,
that just means He will make us comfortable.In Bens case, he will just
peacefully go on. Just remember that in your darkest of hours, God will

I'm sorry
that there are no words I can say to make it all better. I have read Big
Ben's story and cannot imagine your pain. I also cannot believe someone
would tell you to have more faith - I know you believe God. And I
believe you are seeing his plan in action. And as painful as it is keep
looking there is more to come. Look at what has occurred in such a short
period of time. Look at all the good Big Ben has done with his short
time on earth. Someday there will be a cure. And NO parent will have to

family-- what a wonderful son you have. He has made such a positive
impact on so many lives. Your family has so much faith and it is awesome
how you continue to trust in GOD during this time. I love the way you
said it Tom "Either he is or he isn't, either he can or he can't" I to
believe he is and he can. We may not think that what is going on is good
but it is always GOD's will and GOD doesn't make mistakes. You keep your
faith and looking to GOD he is truly the answer in ALL situations. We
just returned home from Children's hosptial in Dallas after my
daughter's third neurosurgery. It was a hard time for us and especially
for our daughter. But, GOD was always in control and I continued to
check your website and what we were feeling is nothing that you all are
going through. I continue to pray daily for Ben's comfort during this
time. I also believe that GOD is blessing your family and is working

continued.... I love the way Eli comes to you with ways to take away
Ben's tumor. How sweet and innocent he is. I just read his book and it
is so true that he is trusting in GOD. That is because he has wonderful
