Hello
guys. Hope all is as well as it can be right now. I truely do think of
you all everyday, several times a day. My husband and I pray for you
Ben, and you guys as parents and of course little Eli. We want you to
know, if there is ever any way besides prayer we can help you guys,
please let me know. I can't imagine your feelings right now at this
point, but I truely do I believe feel a very small fraction of your
pain, as I believe any parent would. You guys are being prayed for I
would say almost every hour through out the day time, and on into the
late evening. I haven't read an update since Monday, but I am sure
things haven't change that much. I have never met you all or Ben, but
for some strange reason, I do feel a strong connection to Ben and your
family, and I truely think and pray for you often. Pleas email me and
let me know if there is anything I can do. My family and I love you

I don't
even know where to begin. Reading tonight the little that I have, and
losing the loved ones I have to cancer, I could not begin to imagine
having to go through it with my 6 month old daughter. I see commercials
almost everyday, and tears come to my eyes. I went through a childhood
of hospitals and doctors, most of the time terrified that they were
going to tell me the worst. Thankfully for me that day never came,
however for you, it did. I and my family, and church will keep you in
our prayers everyday, wishing you, peace, calmness, joy, and love.
Nothing I or anyone else says can make things better for you, but
knowing we are praying to the one and only who can may give some
reassurance. Love and God Bless to your family, friends, and the doctors
who fight each day for Ben's precious life.

is not having much pain. Ben is surely an angel of God. I'm going to
visit my grandsons in Va this weekend. I'm going to give them those
extra hugs. I will check on Ben while there as my daughter also knows of

My
brother, a deputy with the Kanawha County Sheriff's Dept, emailed me the
link to this site. I got up this morning to check my email around 6:00
am. It's now 7:15 am. I have cried and asked why myself. I said to
myself, "He's been doing this for a year - a whole year of his life,
why?" And it came to me - He can comfort Ben in ways that no one else
can. He can reassure Ben and let him know everything will be ok. God can
do anything - and an overwhelming feeling tells me that God lets Ben
know that he will be ok and to be happy. I have two boys of my own (4
and 1). I read your post on 02/14 - the day my 4 year old was
celebrating his birthday. I thought of how different and how unfair it
is. I'm celebrating a birthday and the two of your are celebrating every
tiny moment - took a lot from that. So this morning, when I wake up my
boys to take them to daycare, I'm going to tell them how much I love
them. Thank you Ben.

Family...as I prepare to begin our radio station's 16th annual Country
Cares for Kids Radiothon, please know that I will be thinking of Ben and
your family the entire time. The radiothon is the most important thing
we do all year and I am proud that our station has been involved for so
long, as I've seen the benefits to patients at St. Jude. You are in my
