i pray

Jennifer~ I was so furious today when I read your entry about people
questioning your faith. I've always said that if I could teach anyone
anything by losing my child, I would start with compassion and teaching
people to love their children with their every moment. When we were in
your situation, people suddenly didn't know what to say so they said
STUPID things. It hurt, it was pointless and it stuck! I don't know what
to say to you accept that coming from a mother who was in your shoes
three years ago... I see that you have faith and that you BELIEVE GOD!
And I see that you love your children and eachother. Don't let anyone
judge you because it's easy to say what one would do until they are
faced with it. (I still don't know what I would do if it happened
again.) I did have issues with God, and I am still working through them,
but it's not that I didn't believe or have faith. I hope that you get to
see Ben's "sunset" because as sad as it may sound, it's so beautiful.

I'm at a
loss of words. My heart is breaking for your family and just makes me
sick to have to read the heart ache in your posts. You are such a strong
family and I can't fathom what you must be going thru, thinking and
feeling and I pray that I never have too! You give me hope that there
are people out there that trust the lords plan though we don't like it
or understand it you also don't fight it! You are going thru this with
such grace that I can honestly say I could NOT do!!! You are an
inspiration! Ben is a lucky boy to have such a caring family as you all.
I hope that Ben is finding comfort and I hope that in the days ahead
your family will find comfort! Trust in the lord as he leads you thur
this time its not pretty and I'm sure its not easy but there is a reason
and with the money your raising I think you can see a part of it! Your

Although
we have been silent for awhile on these pages, you have not been out of
our minds or hearts any day. We follow the news on the website, and
continue to pray for all of you. Emily and Jenny follow this as well,
often asking us if we have checked and read the latest. It seems so
trite to say, since it has been said so many times, but you all continue
to inspire us with your perseverance, prayers for others, and grateful
hearts in the midst of broken ones. I am involved in the healing and
prayer ministry at our church. We would never...never....attribute a
lack of physical healing to the amount of faith. I believe that God
always heals in some way, whether of the mind, body or spirit, with the
goal always being a closer relationship with God. Physical healing is
important, but temporary for any of us. God has brought about healing in
so many ways, for so many people, that it is obvious He is healing. It

I've been
following Ben's story for about 4 weeks now after finding it in search
of information regarding brain tumors....my own 3 month old niece has
one. I pray for him as much as I pray for Sydni "Trust in God" " It is
true there are times of trial and days of darkness, when the best of us
are apt to mistrust the providence of God over us, and are tempted to
lose heart and hope althogether; but if we are seeking first the kingdom
of heaven we shall understand that it is God who gives and takes away
for our soul's sake, that we are of much more value in His sight than
the birds of the air. We shall put our trust in His providence and
suffer no the wants of the body, the things of sense, and the trials of
this life to fill our souls with bitterness; we shall be trustful in the
hour of need, patient in the hour of disappointment, tranquil in the

You! I read this website everyday to see how Big Ben is doing and to
pray for him and his family! I have learned so much from all of you!I
felt sad when i read you were getting comments from several on why
somebody doesn't get healed on earth. We aren't God and we aren't to
play God! My mom passed away from cancer several years ago and we felt
God was in control the whole time. Mom and all of us would have been
lost without strong faith! My mom fought the good fight for several
years till she couldn't fight anymore! She couldn't handle the chemo
anymore and she told us all it was time to start the "going to Heaven
party!" It was hard for us daughters and dad to handle at times but we
knew "the best was yet to come!" She decided no more chemo and the
following week she went to Heaven. We had gathered around her hospital
bed and we sang her favorite hymns as she hung onto life with just 3
breathes a minute!!We just kept on singing because she would still know
when we stopped singing!We sang for an hour and we honestl

I just
finished reading about BEN in the Hospice newsletter. My niece..RYLEE
DAVIS was featured last month. It is so heartbreaking to read about
these precious, innocent children with such awful problems. My heart
goes out to you and your family. I know this is a tough, trying time for
you. I also know that God ONLY gives us what he knows we can
handle....apparently you are very strong people! I know the Bible says
all things work together for good to them who love GOD to them who are
called according to his purpose. WE feel my niece RYLEE DAVIS was a gift
from GOD for us to love and enjoy while we can. I also know your son
must be in a very loving, caring family. My prayers are with you and I

My whole
message didn't get printed...i just want to say..when we sang my mom to
Heaven it was an experience i will never forget. It was "strong faith"
that got us through and as a Christian a person always wins..whether
it's being healed on earth or going to Heaven to recieve a healing! God

followed Ben's story through his website and also throught a relative of
mine that had Jennifer as a therapist. I wanted to let your family know
that I think of you all everynight and you are in my prayers all of the
