We lost
our daughter to Aicardi syndrome in Aug. I know what you are going
through. Stay calm if at all possible through this last part and you
will be able to glimpse heaven with the promise of Ben's wholeness.
Being there for Carys in the last moments was breathtaking, beautiful
and filled with sorrow...I will always cherish those last moments.

I am
lifting your family and those that surround you up in prayer tonight. As
I glance through the guestbook I am absolutely amazed at the ammount
people God has been able to touch through your family. Again I thank you
for allowing God to work through you. Tom and Jennifer you as parents
have given Ben and Eli the greatest gift by simply trusting God and
relying on the strength and Grace that only He is able to provide. You
have chosen to allow peace fill your hearts and that has allowed you to
be there physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually to meet every
need that both of your boys have. Your family has changed my life and by
wearing my "Big Ben" bracelet I will be reminded hourly of the lessons
God has taught me. Thank-you for the precious gift you have given me.

Jennifer, as I sat here tonight and read the latest updates on Ben, I
remembered an incident that happened several years ago. My first thought
was to tell you about it, then I thought no, they will think I am crazy.
However, I really feel a strong urging to share this with you, so here
goes...several years ago my youngest daughter was 4 years old. It was a
beautiful sunny day and she and I were outside, she riding her little
trike and I was reading. Suddenly, she jumped off the trike, so excited,
and began pointing at the sky. "Look mommy!" she had exclaimed--"Look at
all those angels!" I looked up but saw nothing. "It's just the clouds,
honey" I told her. Heather was adament and said "No! No! I see angels
walking down those yellow stairs, bunches of them!" I didn't see
anything but the blue sky, but for the longest time she just kept
laughing and pointing to the sky talking about all the angels. In a few
minutes we went inside and I didn't think anymore about the

powerful words that spill out of your mouth. What an inspiration you and
to so many people. What amazing courage you all have displayed this past
year. So many people have been touched by Ben's story. One little guy,
One big story. One Big story that will now allow so many to be in heaven
because that is how Ben has been touching people. I am sure that so many
people who had lost their sight of God have now found it in such a
renewing way. I know that we don't understand Gods plan but one day we

I forgot
to tell you in my last guest book entry that Ripley have up to me last
night with her little change purse and said "Mommy, when am I going to
get to give this money to Ben. I really want him to have it" She has
kept that 79 cents since before Christmas to give to him. Such love and
innocence.

about 30 minutes, I glanced out the kitchen window and saw an ambulance
next door. I walked over and someone told me that the elderly man who
lived there had died in his sleep. As I walked home I thought about what
had happened earlier to Heather. Now, with this urging I feel to send
this to you, I wonder..God knows everything, so even then He knew of Ben
and what was to be. Perhaps, maybe what Heather saw was meant to be for
you, now. I am praying for Ben's comfort and your peace as the angels
near..God hold you all close.

I find it
incredible that someone would find any fault whatsoever in all you and
your family have done in Ben's name on behalf of all children facing
this insidious illness. (Not so incredible that "Robert" didn't see fit
to leave his email address...) Your little boy will leave a legacy
behind that will be remembered and will change lives. I thought about
Ben as I rocked my baby girl to sleep tonight and promised myself and
her she would never be taken for granted. Nothing will ever be more
important. And there's no reason ever to be silent about that love.

Bowen Family: We are so deeply sorry for the sadness that is upon you at
this time. You and your family is in our thoughts and prayers daily. We
have a son that is 7 1/2 yrs old and we know that it must be really hard
on your family to being going through these trying times. We can't even
imagine what you are going through. We are parents of Kyle Bryant who
attends Chesapeake Elementary School. We sent him with money on Sweet
Wednesday to donate to Ben. We don't have much but Kyle was bound and
determined to put what he could into the collection. We think of how you
and your family must feel and it rips our hearts out right with you. We
hope and pray right along with you that there will be a miracle sent to

Bowen Family, two days ago I sat with two of my kids praying our evening
prayer and I prayed for Ben. Afterwards my daughter asked me to explain
who Ben is.I told both of them about Ben and his story and she looked at
me and asked why??I found out that in my life things often happen and we
do not get an answer for the why?? by god this time. But I´m sure that
it is not because we do not believe hard enough.God is almighty and he
can do what he promises I experienced that for couple of times in my
life as you did, too.But he is God and he decides what to do and not our
prayers or anything.I´m haveing a brother he is now 21 and as he was
about half a year he had a bad illness. He was dead in my arms no
breathing or heartbeat anymore and my mother and I screamed on to the
Lord to let him be alive. He did so ,and my brother is alive but what he
has to suffer in live because of this moments beeing without oxydition
is a pain for us and for him , too.We love him and we are happy that he

people and I am so very inspired by your faith. You are absolutely doing
the right thing by sharing Ben's story with us! He has impacted so many
