cannot convey how sorry I am for your loss. Ben was a special baby. It
may seem that he was only here for a short time, but his message of life
and love will remain on this Earth forever. God put him on this Earth to
show everyone what the love of a little boy can be. He will forever live
in the hearts and homes of everyone that ever heard of Little Ben. He is
special to all of us and will help give strength to all of the children

Dear Tom,
Jennifer and Eli: I am so very saddened to hear of Ben's passing, even
thought I KNOW he's now an angel in heaven. There's comfort in knowing
that Ben is not in pain -- and that now he will have only peace and joy

is Jessica Gilliam and I am 14 Years Old. I heard about Ben's Story and
life threatening Cancer on the news. Since the first time I saw it I
havent been able to get it out of my head. I want your family to know
that I am praying for you, and I have sent out many requests in church
for your family. I just discovered this site and wanted to post my
thoughts. Just today I heard that you had to say goodbye to Ben, and
that truly breaks my heart. This has been the only story that has

I am
truly sorry for you loss. I just recently saw Ben on the news and right
then sent for some braclets. I hope that you and your family will be
strong through all your sorrow and pain. My mother is battling bladder
cancer and this is the first time I have had to deal with anything so
serious. I will pray for you and your family every day and ask the Lord
to be with you every day. Just remeber Ben is in a wonderful place and

As a
little girl my mom used to sing, " Jesus loves the little children, all
the little children of the world", this song reminded me of Little Ben.
He loved Ben so much, that He put Ben on this Earth for a short time

Hello - I
would like to send my deepest condolences to your family. We have
followed Ben's story as our little girl Lindsey has been fighting ATRT
since September of 2004. She is currently at University of Chicago
Children's hospital receiving a mega-dose of chemo followed by a stem
cell transplant. My heart goes out to you and your entire family. I am

Dear
Bowen family: I have followed Ben's story for the last month and a half.
My grandmother saw him on the news and I started reading about him on
his webpage. I am very saddened about your loss, but I know he's in
heaven looking down on us and not having any pain, with a big smile on
his face. I know how devastating cancer can be because we lost my aunt
to breast cancer. I am a nursing student at Marshall and I never really
wanted to work with kids because I thought it would be too hard to deal
with. I read about how much Ben has touched everyone's life that met him
and I realize that kids are probably the ones that need us more than
anyone, especially the ones whose parents don't care. I consider your
family an inspiration to everyone, especially the ones who have sick
family members. I will continue to think about Ben on a regular basis, I
just want you to know I have shed many tears reading and thinking about

I have
been following Ben's story, and am very saddened to hear of his passing.
There is great comfort, however, in knowing he no longer suffers. My
eyes and heart have shed many tears for Ben. Some were tears of sorrow,
some tears of joy, for everytime his huge genuine smile graced my
computer screen, I just wanted to hug him and pinch his cute little
cheeks! today is joyful tears, for he's in the arms of our Heavenly
Father. From one mom to another, a long gentle ((Hug))....may we all
know of Bens story and hold our children a little tighter. With Much
