I just
wanted to let you know I am praying for Ben. My 11 year old son aks me
almost everyday how he is doing. I told him about Ben and he is excited
and can't wait to get his wristband. He said he is going to show it off
at school and tell everyone about a brave little fighter named Ben. aka

A friend
at work showed this to all of us. Since finding out about Ben we keep
each other up to date. I am praying for your family. I have three
wonderful children, who are very healthy. Your faith in GOD is an

Just a
little note that I am still thinking about you guys all the time during
the day. I say a little prayer everyone once in awhile during the day it
is like once an hour it seems like. You both are such an inspiration to
other parents, and doing a wonderful job from the entries you make on
loving both boys so much. Eli, you are an awesome big brother, and loved
by so many people also. My family here in Nebraska want to do something
special for Eli if it is okay with mom and dad, just a little something
for such a great kid and to let him know everybody is praying for him

The Big
Ben wristband project is living proof that most people are good and that
good always prevails over evil. Sometimes when watching the news at
night, all you hear is about that bad going on in the world today. It
seems so sad to always hear the bad about people and how people seem to
have turned away from God. It is extremely refreshing to hear and see
God's work being done here on earth through the Big Ben project and to
see everyone coming together for the good of all. Most people are good,
caring individuals and you should be very proud of your little, "big"
guy for showing the world the power of God's love. God Bless!

just finished looking at all of his pictures and he is so adorable with
his mick-mee stuff all around him while in disney. Big Bens brown eyes
and georgeous smile can light up anything... praying for bowens.

I am very
glad to here that Ben has been resting more peacefully. I does pain me
to hear that a doctor sees this as worst case scenario. I continue to be
grateful for all the little miracles we all have with Isaiah daily.
People often ask me how I stay composed and deal with this tragedy. I
explain to them that one-I have witnessed a miracle everyday since the
beginning of Isaiah's life, second-that no matter how bad it gets for me
or my family, someone else out there has it far worse than me which
means it could be worse for me, and third-this will become one of the
most important parts of my life. During this time of surprise from
learning of Isaiah's relapse, I have learned a great deal more about
myself, my son, the quality of people surrounding us and others in our
situation, and about life. I have even fallen in love and found my
fiancee. So while there seems to be so much pain and sorrow, for me, I
choose to see the brilliant light coming from this unique situation and
try to stay away from despair and focus all my lo

focus all my love and energy and the important things in my life. Giving
into despair will take away what time you do have and hide the beauty we
still have right in front of our eyes. I read your words and know you
understand what I am saying. With each day being the toughest you have
faced, you continue to enjoy what you do have and do not ask questions
that cannot be answered, rather make bold and loving statements that we
all understand and that we all need to keep our faith and our courage
strong. I want to meet Ben so bad, and I wonder if I could be strong
enough to walk into your home without being totally overwhelmed by the
emotion. You guys mean a great deal to me and are very close to my
heart. I try to write faster and faster to free all the emotion and
words I have in my heart, yet still I find myself not being anywhere
close to what I really feel or really want to say. God Bless all of you.

Hey Ben
and family, My mom got a fax today from Jean Tarbett at the Hearald
Dispatch newspaper in Huntington and she is doing a story about Ben when
his pain is finally over and she would like to hear anyone's comments
they have about how this boy and his family have shown us through their
endurance, especially in these last terrible weeks. So if anyone has any

The first
time we saw Ben was our 3rd visit to RIver Cities and Ben's father spoke
about Ben and what he was about to face. My oldest son Jacob was with me
that Sunday. Jacob was at the time 4 years old. He asked me what was
wrong with Ben. I explained that Ben was sick and had cancer. Jacob
decided right there that he was going to pray for Ben everytime he
prayed. Twice a day for the last year Jacob and now my youngest son Trey
who is 2 pray for Ben every time the eat and before bed. I find myself
begging God for Ben's life and cure. My family and I have never met Ben
or any of your family; however, we have grown to care for you all like
we were family. Tonight I was out with some customers and they saw my
wrist band. The people I was with wanted to know what it was. It was all
I could do to explain Bens story. I think they were wondering why I was
getting upset about someone I do not know. Sometimes I cannot beleive
the emotion I have when I think about Ben. All I can say is your son Ben
is our Saint. My faith in God
