I only
recently learned of "Big Ben" when I read the article in yesterday's
Charleston newspaper. I have not stopped thinking about him or your
family since. In every picture I see of Ben he looks like a little
angel. He has more life and love in his eyes than most adults that have
lived a lifetime. I will carry your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Baby Ben, I continue to lift you and mommy and daddy and Eli up in
prayer everyday. God hears our prayers and he will answer them.
Sometimes he answers them as a whisper and sometimes he answers them
with a yell but he answers them all always. I pray for peace comfort
time and love for you and your family. I also pray for the medical
team,that they will have the knowledge to treat Ben. Never forget, God

Ben's story. His grace is sufficient. We can pray for healing and
should, but most importantly is to stand in HIS presence with our

I first
want to say how appreciative it is to see such a loving, caring, and
sacrificing family such as the one Ben has on his side. If so many
parents of this world would spend half their efforts on their children
as the Bowens have for Ben, the generations to follow would be a group
of the most loving and caring individuals ever to set foot on this
earth. Ben is a beautiful little boy and it absolutely hurts me so deep
inside to see a child the same age as my daugter, Emily, suffer so much.
I wish there was an immediate cure because I know he would grow up to be
a strong and motivated individual like his father. So many people forget
how fortunate they are to even concieve a child much less one in good
health. I wish the very best for Ben, even if he leaves from this world
of suffering he will not be forgotten. Thanks to Tom and Jennifer for
your such kind hearts. It has been a pleasure to meet everyone and try

read about ben and his family and this website in the herald dispatch
and since then have been thinking a lot about little ben and the rest of
the family. you are all facing something so, so difficult (something it
seems would be impossible to face at all) with such grace and calm and
faith. it is wonderful that you are sharing this amazing ability with
