Little
Ben - I learned of your story through Jay Gaskins and have been praying
hard for you and your family. You are a preciuos child and I just pray
that you have peace and comfort. I also pray for your family as I cannot
imagine what you all must be going through.

Dearest
Bowen Family, I do not know what to say. I am in tears reading the
newest update. I can only say that I will continue to pray for Gods
healing on Big Ben. Sweet baby, If I knew what to do to make this all go
away I would not hesitate in doing so. You are such an inspiration to us
all and have changed my life for the better. I am sending up hard
prayers for all of you,for God to wrap his wrap you all in his loving
arms. Sweet baby Ben,I am praying to God to help you find peace and
comfort. I know what I want to say in my head but when it is written is
doesn't sound right. I hope you know what I mean to say. You are an
amazing family and I am proud to know you. Love - Barb

Tom and
Jennifer--I am so saddened to read todays update as I have been praying
daily for Ben not to suffer and be in pain. I wish there was something
that I could do or say to make things less painful for all of you. Just
know that I, along with thousands of others, will continue to bombard
heaven with prayers for your precious little boy and family to be
wrapped in God's loving arms. I will wear my wristband with pride. God
bless you all!

As I have
read the updates on Big Ben's condition and hear the continuing
testimony of The Bowen Family and how they have kept their eye on the
prize as they are finishing this race that is before them, I find that
it is they who are giving inspiration to me and my family and to those
who surround them. As Christians, we are to find peace, relaxation, and
confidence in God's tender care and His mercy through His Son, Jesus.
Yet, as we go through trials and tribulations, it is often easy to
question...to asky WHY? However, the Bowen family has reminded us that
it's God's will, not our's, that is important. When we pray, we ask for
God's will to be done, yet when our prayers are answered and they seem
opposite to what we have been asking, it can be discouraging. Yet, when
God closes a door, he opens a window and only when we are siting in
Heaven with Him throughout eternity might we have a clear understanding
why He answered the prayers the way He did. The only thing he asks of us
that we trust in Him. God knows best and has our b

God knows
best and has our best interests at heart. His love is unconditional.
Albert Einsten once said, "The most beautiful thing we can experience is
the miraculous." And, God grants miracles. He grants miracles
everyday--each time a baby is brought into this world or when a Saint is
called Home. While we have asked, pleaded, and prayed for God to give
Big Ben permanent physical healing and while we still wait for that
miracle should it be His will, there is still a miracle present, which
is evidenced in the Bowen family's testimony. You--Tom, Jennifer, Eli,
and Ben have been a blessing to all of us who have been touched by your
story and have witnessed your continued faith and perseverance through
adversity. I have heard it said that the longest distance anyone travels
is the twelve inches from the head to the heart. As you go through these
next few days and weeks as a family, may God go with you. I thank you
for your testimony of faith and I continue to lift you up in constant
prayer. As Philippians 4:13 says, "We can do all t

I don't
know what to say, but I just want you to know that I'm still here
praying for all of you. I pray for Ben's pain to cease and I pray for
all of you to have physical, emotional, and spiritual strength to carry
you through this. It is so difficult to read these updates and know this
precious, sweet baby is suffering. I am sitting here at work with tears
rolling down my face. How do people do this without the Lord? I'm on
schedule to bring your evening meal again tomorrow, so I'll talk to you
then. I wish there was more I could do for you. I love you all, Bonnie

Your
update has broken my heart. I hate to hear of Ben's pain as well as
yours, in turn. It just tears me apart. I have prayed so much that if
there be suffering, to make it short. I know that this pain will end,
but there is no promise of what comes after it. I just pray for his
comfort and wholeness. Also, for you, Jennifer and Eli--that you may
find comfort and wholeness when this is all over. But you know, as we
talked about, Ben's story isn't over yet. I believe in my heart that
there is still hope of a miracle. If we believe enough, we'll be
rewarded. For now, I just believe that Ben can be healed, whatever that
means for the long run. I love you guys and I'll keep trying to help in
every way that I can. Tell Big Ben that I'll be there (hopefully) in the
beginning of March and I can't wait to love on him.

Tom and
Jennifer, I haven't written you since you were in Memphis. I have kept
up with you through the Sartins and this website. I am overwhelmed with
your faith and your struggles. God is so faithful. I feel him living in
you through your updates. I am praying for you all, especially for Ben.
I quote from a Chuck Swindoll book " When we hit a tough spot, our
tendecy is to feel abandoned..In fact just the opposite is true, for at
that moment, we are more than ever the object of God's concern. Psalm

Dear
Bowens Family, Over the past couple of days I have been thinking and
praying for your entire family. I too, am in tears and heartbroken over
your latest entry. Ben is such a beautiful little boy and brave like his
big brother Eli and his entire family. I know that this has been a long
journey but your faith has been a gift to all who have witnessed your
Love and Faith in our Father. I am reminded of a minister who was saying
in church a long time ago that God only lends us our children to raise
as our own and it is God who decides when they are ready to return to
HIM. I guess and I don't like the fact that God is ready to call and
take Ben from you. You have only had him for such a short period of
time. I strongly believe that God has seen that you have prepared Ben to
be HIS son. God is proud of how you have raised your son. So am I
because I am a better mother and teacher through your entries.

I have
never walked in your shoes and I can not say that I know what you are
going through. But I know how to pray and your family has been in my
prayers daily since I have come to know your story. May you be comforted
by God's presence. When I go through hard times I try to remember that
God will not burden me with anything bigger than what He and I can't
handle together. Love and prayers.

I am sure
there are no words I can offer that can ease what you guys are facing
right now. Over the last several months, Ben's Story has taught me be a
prayer warrior and I hold fast to the belief that we are witnessing
something take place much greater than our human minds can fathom. The
only words that even come to mind to offer are Phillipians 4:6-7.
