Jennifer and family, I am heartbroken to read your update but I am
praying for God to ease Ben's pain. I think about him every day. Your
family have given Ben so much love over the past year as it shows in all
the wonderful pictures you allow us to see. You are wonderful parents

was recently sent home on hospice. I just wanted you to know that we
check on you often and now more than ever understand your pain but more
importantly to not let these brave lives be in vain. We have decided to
stay in Memphis as they are not predicting this to be a long process. We

Jennifer, I have followed Ben's story for some time and only posted in
his GB a couple of times...it is truly heartbreaking reading your
journal entries. Ben is such a young little boy and to know he is having
such a difficult time is just wrong. I know that you are getting TONS of
suggestions and advise, but I had to add my voice to the millions. My
son passed away in Nov 04...he was on a large concoction of pain meds as
his pain was very hard to control at times as well...one thing that
worked really well for Kyle in the area of nerve related pain, and he
had alot due to his tumor site etc...was gabapentin. I'm not sure if Ben
is taking this or not, if not I would definitely ask his docs or home
health care professionals about it. It really is good for that type of
pain. Anyway, my two cents...but if it helps. Take care...I think and
pray for you many times a day. Lisa

Well, Big
Ben, what a truly remarkable job you're doing of bringing a large amount
of people around the world together to pray. I bet you've even gotten
people to speak with God who haven't quite gotten around to it in a
while. That's some pretty big wings for such a little angel. Your work
for God has earned you a truly special place in heaven. The courage of
your mom, dad, and Eli has inspired many others who face a similar
challenge and their praise for Gods' grace and comfort in a difficult
time has earned them the same reward, I believe. I'll continue to pray

Praying
in each waking moment for Ben's pain to respond to medication, for
strength and comfort for Jennifer and Tom, and for peace for little Eli.
Once again through such a young life, God is working a miracle for other
children through the Big Ben wristbands. For us, we have seen the Father

It seems so easy to ask "why?" and to pray "ok, God, fix this" prayers
to only stop and realize that He could, in a heartbeat. Rather, He has
taken an extraordinary family who He knew had the faith to handle this
to change lives all over the world. Your family continues to seek The
