Hey Guys,
I have you guys on my mind again tonight. I just wish there was
something I could do or say that could make some of the pain go away. I
know that it isn't possible, only God can do that. I need to come to
Huntington this week to get McKinley another pair of glasses. I should

Tom & Eli...Just wanted to let you know that you are always in my heart
and I hope things are going good and that you are resting and enjoying
Eli. Seem's like every time I have had a problem or a trial my mind
seems to always focus on your family and all you have withstood.I still
have a lot to learn but Im getting there. Miss Ben so much but I am
planning on seeing him again some day and wont that be a wonderful day.

Jennifer Eli I am praying for you. Your story has touched me on so many
levels as I have read you journal entries . It has made me try harder to
connect with my children on a daily basis and not take their health or
the days we have together for granted. It has also brought me to a
better prayer life with god. In praying for your family it has helped me
to reconnect with god on a higher level. We bought some of the bracelets
8 one for each member of the all star basketball team that my daughter
is on . And as she was passing them out to her team mates she asked each
one to pray for your family and all the children said they would and I
believe that they did. I cannot imagine the agony that your family goes
through each day but I can imagine Ben in Jesus 's arms being well taken
care of because each of you are spiritual warriors for God . And I know
that God has not forgotten your family Much more greatness is to come

That is
so crazy that you are in Memphis or were there. I am a regular reader of
this site but I have been on a Spring Break mission trip in Memphis all
week and have not had internet access. But it was crazy how much I
prayed for your family this week just b/c I was in Memphis. I also
prayed everytime I passed by St. Jude. I got to tell my whole team,
those who didn't already know, about Ben and how ya'll have glorified
God through all that has gone on. So know that you were prayed for and

Hello,
Bowens. I was thinking about you this afternoon, and thought I'd check
the website. I was glad you had posted an update. I think of you so
often. I'm gald you made it to Memphis okay. I know the strength and
comfort that you will get there will help you. As much as us "outsiders"
want to help, nothing will help you like the fellowship of others who
have traveled the road you are on. And seeing new people traveling it
also will continue to inspire you to encourage them. I can't even
imagine how you feel, not having any children of my own. But I think of
you often, and pray for you continually. Praise God He knows exactly how

wanted to say that I think of you all everyday...but today more so...I
met a couple down at childrens hospital of Philadelphia...to find out
she has Rhabdoid ATRT....as soon as she said those few little words I
broke down, I couldnt help myself....for Ive been following Bens story
for some time I knew alot about this cancer.....there little girl is
only 15mths old and so shinningly beautiful....my heart just aches...I
did however give them your webpage cause I thought it would be truely an
inspiration for them....as your story is to me....I know your life has
taken a different road now... which none of us can understand.....but we
continue with life...as the best we can and with what we have .....I
send prayers for your continuing strength all the time....May God

Bowen Family - There is not a day that passses that Ryan and I don't
think and talk about Big Ben, Eli and both of you - trying to undrstand
what you guys are going through. You see we are mourning the loss of Ben
with you - certainly not in the capacity of your family - but Ben was a
part of our every day life. We were so drawn to Big Ben and Eli that we
to are feeling a change in our day-to-day life without Ben. We had so
much hope and wanted so much for Ben to remain here on earth with us -
free of cancer - playing with Eli and just being a kid. We are with you

Bowens! I met your family when I was working at Disney World this fall.
I was part of a group that "sang" Happy Birthday to Ben in TownSquare.
Now, I'm back at school in Chicago and I've been following Ben's story
since they day I read your t-shirts. I recieved by Big Ben bracelet a
couple of weeks ago. It was way too big for my wrist so I put it around
my ankle. I'm a dancer and there is nothing more inspiring when I'm
having a tough day in ballet class or when a combination is particluarly
hard then to see the reflection of ben's blue band in the mirror. I
don't know if this means anything to you, but I just wanted to let you
know that Ben is going to keep on inspiring me for a long time.

My heart
goes out to you. I could not imagine going through what you have. I
don't know that my faith would be that strong. I have 2 beautiful girls
and I couldn't imagine life without them. I read a poem the other day
and it was about how God decided who was going to be parents of children
with handicaps and other problems and it describe the type of person it
takes and surely that is how he picked you to be the parents of such a
wonderful little boy. My heart goes out to you and your family for your
loss and may God bless you in so many other ways. You are truly blessed
and have more courage than anyone I know. May God take care of you and
your son in your hour of pain. I just want you to know that I hold my
kids a little closer after reading Ben's story.

I just
checked the website tonight and saw that you, Jennifer and Eli are in
Memphis seeing friends. I first met your family on Tuesday night,
November 7, 2004 at Wolfchase Galleria Mall where Ben & Eli got their
pictures made with Santa Claus. Since then, I have followed the story of
Ben, checking the website daily, sometimes several times a day, and I
can not imagine the void in your life at this time. I know you miss Ben,
and so do I. I am again working at Wolfchase making pictures with the
Easter Bunny. If you get this message and have time, please come by and
get Eli's picture made. It is "on the house". Would love to see you
again. Your family is still in my thoughts and prayers. I don't know if
this is appropriate, but I would like to ask for your prayers for my
step-daughter. She is 22 years old and has been missing since Thursday
night, March 17, 2005. She suffers from epileptic seizures and currently
takes 4 types of medications. This is an extreme emergency in that she
has not had her medicine since Thursday
