I got up
this morning with your family on my mind as I do each day. Hope all is

GOOD
MORNING!!! I HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU. I CANT BRING MYSELF TO CHECK ON
ANYONE ELSE YET. ANYTIME I WOULD TALK ABOUT BEN OR TELL HIS STORY, I
CAUGHT MYSELF REFERRING TO HIM AS MY BEN. YOUR SON TOUCHED ME SO DEEPLY.
ICANT IMAGINE YOUR PAIN. IVE HEARD THE STORIES OF WHAT HEAVEN IS LIKE
AND I KNOW EVERYONE IS FAMILY, BUT I DID PRAY FOR MY PAP TO KEEP AN EYE
ON BEN. THAT SOUNDS STRANGE FROM A 36 YEAR OLD WOMAN, BUT I JUST KNOW HE
IS UP THERE FLASHING THAT SMILE AND BRINGING JOY TO EVERYONE IN HIS NEW
BODY. I STILL THINK OF YOU ALL EVERY DAY AND CANT WAIT FOR FUTURE
UPDATES. I KNOW ELI WILL BE ALRIGHT, HE HAS VERY GOD SEEKING PARENTS.
ANYWAY, JUST WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW YOUR ARE FOREVER IN MY THOUGHTS
AND PRAYERS. I FIND MYSELF WHEN FACED WITH A SITUATION, THINKING OF BEN,
HE HANDLED HIS LITTLE LIFE WITH SUCH GRACE, I PRAY THAT I CAN DO THE
SAME IN MY LIFE, INSTEAD OF FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF AND WALKING AWAY

I'm
setting here at work listening to a St. Jude Children's telethon on the
radio and thinking of your family. They have raised over $7,000 so
far!!! I bet Ben & Hanna are smiling & giggling as people are donating!!
God is so good!! Please update soon, I read every morning and to be
truthful, I can't wait to log on to read what you have to say and how

Tom,
Jennifer, and Eli, Just want to let you know that we are still praying
for you - and not a day goes by that Ben is not thought about in our
home and in our church, Bethesda, in Ona. Your family story comes up
every week in our Bible Study and we do not fail, each time we meet
together, to pray for God's strength and comfort for you! Ben's life and
witness continues to touch lives and will reach hearts for God for
generations to come. My 4 year old asks about him, and listens to his
story many times a week. Our family will keep telling her about this
special little boy who was sent to our world for a wonderful mission.
Your right, the story DOES continue! Again, please know that our family

I told
you earlier today that a radio station (96.9 The Kat) here in NC is
holding a telethon for St. Jude Children's Hospital and that they
already raised over $7,000 for cancer research. The new total is now
over $114,000!!! HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!!!!!

My blue
band has become part of my daily morning/evening routine and serves as a

wanted to say hello and let you know I was thinkingof all of you. Twenty
eight years ago yesterday 3/14/77 we buried Carrie's little sister
Theresa and i just wanted you to know that I sent several balloons
heaven bound for our special kids and their very special brothers and
sisters. I sent a big blue one for Ben witha note tucked inside and and
another blue and white one from Eli to his little brother. I did a pink
one for Theresa and pink and white ones from her siblings. I put notes
inside all of them asking God to shower special blessings on all the
special children and their families in memory of Ben and Theresa. I sent
them out over the Gulf of Mexico at sunset. Just wanted you to know how
special you are to me, to us. Love, Carrie's mom.

Dear
Tommy, Jennifer, and Eli, I can't get you off of my mind. Each day as I
put on my wristband, I pray for you, and several times throughout the
day,as I feel it on my arm, I pray for you again. I hope you are
enjoying some quality time with Eli. I pray for your continued healing
and for good times together. I pray for the Father to comfort all of you
and give you peace and rest. I can't imagine the pain you are feeling
and how much you miss Ben for I miss that sweet baby so much myself. I
drive by his grave every few days. Even though we know he is in Heaven,
I just feel drawn to the cemetery. It was good to see you Sunday at
church. I was going to give you a hug, but when I turned around you were
gone. I'm sure it must be difficult to attend services and see everyone
and have to answer questions from everyone. I'm sure everything will get
easier in time, although you will never stop missing your baby. My heart
