Our
Cubbies lesson last night was about Heaven. They talked about the
beautiful mansions, how the lion and lamb will lie down together, and
how there will be no more pain. I couldn't help but think of Ben.
Kirsten said "that's where Ben and Hanna are". It's so comforting to
know they are in such a wonderful place.

pain and to also help Eli through all of his emotions. I find myself

I can't
believe I misssed your visit to Cincy! I would have loved to see you
all. I wear my Big Ben bracelet with pride everyday! God is amazing! I
think about Ben and how he's running around in Heaven free of pain and
Jesus wrapping his arms around him. What a wonderful thought! God bless

are in my prayers all day long, whenever God puts you on my heart, which
is often. I don't know exactly how to pray for you, what to ask for, but
God knows what you need and the Holy Spirit intercedes in those prayers.
I know that God puts you on Scott's heart often also, so I speak for

Jennifer, and Eli, My boys and I think of you everyday and we pray for
you. My heart aches when I think of the pain of your loss. My 2 oldest
boys at different times have been in life threatening accidents. My
oldest Corey had a severe head injury 5 years ago and was in a coma. It
took 2 years for him to fully recover. And then my Craig at the age of 2
and a half I found in a friends pool drowned. He came back to us and was
fine. I only know of the fear of loosing my child and cannot imagine the

goes by that we don't think of you guys...course the lovely blue color
of the Big Ben Bands may have something to do with that too. We have
been encouraging the folks that we have enlisted to pray for your family
to be praying as much now as when Ben was still in your care. We still

I have
been thinking about your family many times a day since Ben's passing and
have tried to sign the guestbook but have gotten server errors. I have
gotten many questions about the blue band that I wear - and there's such
interest when I share your story. Ben's legacy will live on. It lifted
my hear to read that you felt such peace at Ben's service - I can't
imagine the pain you feel - and the depth of the loss. The "Country
Cares" St Jude fundraiser is going on in my local area today and
tomorrow - and I am listening to the radio thinking about Big Ben (and
you all) and hoping that we can find cures for all these cancers. I've
done some research and the company I work for has a matching donation
program - I've filled in the form - and will sending my donation in
tomorrow - In Ben's honor. Thank you again for sharing your story and
helping raise awareness - St Jude's is a wonderful place - it gives Life
and Hope for so many.
