I have
always said that things happen for a reason. God knows why and when
these things will happen. Death is the great reliever. It is a majestic,
quiet passing on from this life to another life. We go to a place where
we will not suffer as we have suffered here. Whenever the cold hand of
death strikes, there shines through the gloom and the darkness of that
hour the triumphant figure of the Lord Jesus Christ, He, the Son of God,
who by his matchless and eternal power overcame death. He is the
Redeemer of the world. He gave His life for each of us. He took it up
again and became the firstfruits of them that slept. He, as Kings of
Kings, stands triumphant above all other kings. He, as the Omnipotent
One, stands above all rulers. He is our comfort, our only true comfort,
when the dark shroud of earthly night closes about us as the spirit
departs the human form. We must always have faith. Faith is the great
moving power which can change our lives and move us forward on the road
of immortality and eternal life. Children are the epitome

precious and wonderful privilege given each of us for our individual
guidance, comfort and peace. God lives. He is near. He is real. And so

Jennifer, I have been thinking of your family nonstop. I just read all
of the articles about Ben's life. What a journey it's been for your
family and praise God, He carried you through it all. I am praying for
your hearts to heal and life to settle down for all three of you. It's
hard to go back to 'normal' days when you've cared for someone every
waking minute for so long. My grandfather just passed away, and the void
is so large right now that there are moments that I wonder if life can
ever be normal again. My mother cared for him and my other two
grandparents for 13 years. They've all passed away in the last two
years, so life is definitely different. My mom struggles with it, so I
am saying extra prayers for you to have peace to make it through the
upcoming days. I know your time will be different without Ben, but it
will still be good because of Eli. Enjoy each other and take the time

WOW, Even
though Ben is gone, he is still in my heart today and will be forever! I
have tears streaming down my face for you and your family! I know many
people up in Heaven and I know one boy who fought just like Ben Did,
Chayton Anderson, I have been touched by their two stories and now I see
life a little different! Thank you for sharing Ben's story!! I am so
sorry you had to lose Ben but we all know that Gad had a plan for him,
Ben TOUCHED soo many lives! He's is God's care now and he is so

articles from the hearald dispatch about Big Ben and yes his story truly

I'm
deeply sorry for your loss. Ben touched so many lives and brought so
many people hope and faith. I graduated from Huntington High School this
past June, and it was amazing to see how high school students, so often
thought of as shallow and self-absorbed, remembered Big Ben in their
prayers and conversations every day. He brought us past our petty issues
to think of someone better and stronger than we could ever be. Thank you

Jennifer and Eli, I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with
your family with extra prayers for Eli, a wonderful big brother for Ben.

name is J. Paul Bryan and I work with YFc in Palm Beach County, Florida.
My mom(Pam Bryan) is also friends with Ben and Eli's Grandma. I was made
aware of Ben's story about a year or so ago and many people were praying
for Him to either get well or for the Lord's will to be done. I also
have a cousin who passed away of Leukemia last summer and that was
pretty traumatic. I can't imagine what you must be going through but
know that many prayers have been sent up and will continue to be sent
from here in Florida.

always believed in god and through the years have become much more
faithful, but through Ben's story my faith has become so much stronger,
I look at my own children everyday and thank god for the wonderful gift
