I am
trying to find the right words to comfort the loss of Big Ben. He has
been an awesome soldier in the war of cancer, and how this sweet little
boy touched the lives of so many amazes me to this day. Tom, Jennifer
and Eli- your love for Big Ben and each other is astounding. You are
truly a wonderful family. May Eli grow up always knowing how he and his
family changed the lives of so many. It has made me a better person. I
want to thank you Bowens with all my heart for sharing the story of your
angel, Big Ben. Keep smiling from above Ben. My prayers are with you

to be with you guys. What a day of sorrow, but yet happy because Ben is
not in pain anymore, and he has done so much in his life, that some
people never accomplish. Everybody is so proud of him and my family had

sorry that I could not attend Ben's funeral. I had wanted to go, but got
a very bad cold and didn't want to share it with you! My mind and heart
has been with you all day. I would like to do something for you. Maybe
when it warms up some, Eli would like to go to the park and play with my
little boy and girl (they are around his age 3 & 6)? I know he must need
a break. My prayers are with you and Eli, just as they have always been
all along.

my boys and my wife. One thing that all this has taught me is to make
the most of each momment. I've always valued the time with my family,
but now I want to step it up! We all get so wrapped up in work and
