There
have been many times in my life that I have had to remind myself of
God's ultimate purpose for my life- to tell others about Jesus, to
spread His Word. It is so easy to get caught up it the things of this
world and miss our true purpose. What a awesome testimony Ben lived and
continues to tell with his life. Thank you Jennifer, Tom and Eli for

Your
family is in my thoughts and prayers. I have read about Ben each day for
the last year or so, and he is an amazing little boy. I have always
appreciated and cherished each day with my daughter Zoë, now 4 1/2, but
after reading about Ben, I was even more conscious about it. I am sorry
it took me so long to leave a note, I had always wanted to. Last month I
sent a donation to St. Jude on behalf of Ben. St. Jude is an amazing
place.

imagine, but just know how your son touched the lives of so many. He's

So sorry
for the loss of Big Ben. We arejust about to make a donation. My family
will do anything that we can to help the St. Jude foundation in trying
to come up with answers to these diseases. Jack, our son is 18 months
old and while I cannot understand how you must feel I do want the whole
family to know you are in our prayers everyday and everynight. This may
not help now, but Ben is in heaven with God and is having no pain. He is
there with looking over you and knowing that you loved him so very much.
Again, we just went to say how sorry we are.

husband and I have been trying to keep up with Ben's Story. We were,
like so many others, sadden to hear of the loss of such a special little
boy. Losing someone close to you is so hard to deal with and that is why
we turn to prayer. Your family are in our prayers and Ben will always

Just like
every day over the past year, I checked Ben's website on Friday. I read
of his home-going and found myself without words to express what I was
feeling. I've checked the website over and over during the past few
days, just looking at your family's pictures, reading the updates, and
guestbook entries. I have no idea what you've gone through during this
time of your life...reading your words and actually feeling your pain
are two totally different things. Just know that you're on my mind and
in my heart and prayers. What a bittersweet day this must be for you.
What an amazing family you are! "My grace is sufficient for thee; for my

Thinking
of you today... I appreciated your post 2/28. Just last week I was
talking about your family with my 15 year old daughter. Our conversation
was about how some say that God only has these awful things happen to
those with the strentgh to handle them..BUT we said NO, people make it
through these journeys with GOD!! Just as you posted! God Bless you and
help you through these difficult days... I hope many enlightening
conversations occur in many families due to your courage in sharing your
journey....

hard it is to lose someone you love dearly. I remember that Tom came to
the Fall Retreat once for RCCC a few years ago and I remember him
talking about Ben's condition, it was just developing then. Since that
day, I have prayed for your family everyday. Ben has no pain anymore and

Jennifer and Eli - It has taken me several days to get up the courage to
sign Big Ben's guestbook again. Your message of Ben meeting Jesus was
posted at 7:30pm and I checked the site at 8pm. I always checked at
least once a day to see how things were going. But since then, I haven't
been able to visit the site again until today. As many have said, I'm
not sure what to say other than your child has touched my life and my
heart in ways I cannot describe. Your entire family has touched my
heart. As a mother, I simply cannot imagine the heartache you all must
feel yet you remain so positive. You've mentioned many times that you
saw God through Ben and I want you to know that we all see God through
you also. Please know that your family remains in our prayers as you
face each new day. I know the service will be beautiful today.
