have I known of a child to have such an impact on an entire country as
this little boy. God blessed more than just his family with Ben, He

Family, My deepest condolences got out to you at this time. If you know
nothing from my entries to Big Ben, know this. For the first time in
years I believed again. I had so long ago laid down my Bible because of
untrue words spoken to me. Ben has led exceptional life. In a more
profound way than anyone could ever put into words. You can rest knowing
that there are people out there who had lost Hope, and again, chose the

Bowen Family, When I got home from the funeral visitation tonight, I
checked my e-mail messages. The other day, I sent my friend a message
and told him about Ben and left him a link to the website. He responded
and I wanted you to see what he wrote...It touched me. I will be praying
for you all. vargyvarg03 (2/28/2005 3:00:05 PM): i'm sorry to hear about
the little boy, i'm sorry for everyones loss..but suffering through life
or dying...the boy came and touched everyone..remember him and remember
him well..i knew not of him til you told me about him...and it even
touched me..I have a boy and to lose him would absolutely be my end...I
am sorry he died...I am sorry for everyones hurt. Its nice to know that
he could empassion so many in such the short time he was here...I wish

very saddened to hear of Ben's race being over. I am very glad to know
that God has such a wonderful angel looking over us now. My brother Jody

a long time and I never realized that Ben was your son until I saw the
obituary. I knew the Lord would choose you to serve such an awesome
purpose; but, never did I realize to what extent. Ben's life from what I
have read and heard is a mirror reflection of the way you affected
people's lives over the years and I'm sure it is going to continue now

Hello, My
name is Jordan and I am a 17 year old Junior in High School. I have been
reading Ben's story for months now and I am just sick over hearing the
news of his passing! I am not a mother & don't understand the pain that
your family must be going through at this time. I have been lucky in my
life and have only lost one family member. My Grandmother had cancer and
passed away just a few short months after discovering the news. I was
young and don't remember much about it, but this story is something that
I feel I will remember the rest of my life. Most of the students at my
school have bought a BIG BEN band and are current readers of his web
page. Seraval of us have placed links and quotes on our profile in
loving memory of Ben. Some students not completely understanding the
reality of this heart breaking story, are unaware of the lives that Ben
has touched. Many people in my community are making donations to St.

cannot even begin to imagine the pain you are feeling. My daughter is
about two weeks younger than Ben. Because of him, I hold her more
tightly and have so much more patience when she is being "difficult."

Continued..... every Thursday, we talk about Ben and his family and you
all are always in our prayer request. A thought about your family
crosses my mind each and every time I see someone wearing the band. The
sight of one now brings a tear to my eye. I do not know the your family
personally, but I would like you to know that you are always in my
thoughts. Just as you are in the other thousands of people who have
entered the site or heard the story throw someone else. I would like to
end this by saying that God put Ben on this earth, just as he does
everyone else, to make a statement and to make a difference. Although
Ben did not live a long life he certainly made a difference in thousands
