Tom,
Jennifer and Eli, Words are so inadequate, and we're too far away to
make it to Ben's funeral to just share a hug. Thank you, for sharing,
giving, and helping us to see more clearly those things God would have
us to know. We wanted you to know that the Lowell Fire Dept is praying
you through, along with Ada Bible Church. Ben was truly used by God, and
God sure knew who needed to be Ben's earthly parents. God bless you

I have
followed Ben's story very closey because I see patients everyday that
fight, overcome, and give up because of cancer. But just by looking at
Ben you could tell he was a fighter. MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY,AND

last week heard of your family and the huge battle you have faced.
Tonight I read about your loss, and cannot even begin to imagine the
pain you must feel. I lift you to God in my prayers tonight, for only he

My heart
is broken for your family and at the same time I rejoice for Ben. I
rejoice that he is able to run and play and live painfree. His life has
inspired me in so many ways. I am a better Mom to my kids...I am a
better Christian...I am a better member of my community...I contribute
more of my time, energy and money both to my church and to fight
childhood cancer. Thank you Tom and Jennifer for sharing glimpses of Ben
with the world...Thank you God for giving Ben to his amazing parents.
May your family find peace in the legacy that Ben has stood for. May Eli
find peace and happiness after living through something that should have
brought most adults to their knees...may he have the grace and wisdom to
understand who Ben was and his part in the story. Mostly may God carry

My heart
is absolutely aching for you. I just cannot fathom your pain right now
and I wish there was something I could do to make it go away. I continue
to pray for you and Eli. I had a man call me this evening by the name of
Mr. Akers. Mr. Akers has called me about once a month since the
hotdog/rummage sale back over the summer. He always wants your P.O. box
and City Bank info to donate money. This evening, Mr. Akers wanted to
know how to buy a bracelet. He generally never speaks that much, but
this evening he talked A LOT. He was so sad over Ben's passing and he
asked me if I thought it would be ok if he wrote you a letter. I told
him that I thought you would really appreciate that. He told me he had
prayed everynight for Ben. He was truly touched by Ben's life. Before we
hung up he asked me if I knew how he could get a picture of Ben to keep.
He sounded older and he said he didn't have the internet or a computer.
I took down his address and I told him I would print one and mail it to

sorry for your loss. But Ben is now in a better place. He has no more
pain. I just want to say that he has inspired me to make a monthly
donation to St. Jude every month. Maybe one day there will be a cure
found and there will be no more little babies suffering from something

Finding
the words to say to the Bowen family is a hard thing to do. Talking
about such a rare, precious, courageous little boy that has been taken
away from here is a tough thing to talk about. I didn't know Big Ben but
just by reading his story i'm truley touched and I've learned so much
about life. Time is precious..and you must treasure every second you
have here on earth. The story of his life has shown me that caring about
others, even if u don't know them and helping others out in times of
need, is really what makes the world a better place. We need more of
this love and unity around the world more often. Ben truley must had
been an angel living on earth to make such an incredible impact on lives
all around the world. Though he is gone, I know his spirit is living on
through his parents, family and through all the people he's touched

Don’t
ever feel like you weren’t enough. You were more then enough. You were
all he ever wanted. His Mommy and Daddy loved him, cared for him, and
done all that they could to give him a better quality of life. Take your
anger and sadness and put it towards helping others who are fighting for
a cure. Even in your darkest moments you had strength. You believed… In
God and Ben. Ben has brought people to Jesus. Big job for a little man.
But he did it and wouldn’t of known how without the love and support of
his family. A plan is made out for us all. Not many get to see it as you
have with Ben. Bens job still isn’t done much more will come from his
story. It has just began. Thank you Ben for showing me the way. Sleep
well sweet Ben. One day we will have a play date.
