Jennifer,
Tom, Eli, and Ben. It is times such as these that brings new meaning to
passages and truths about our God. How many times do we make statements
about Him and "His ways being beyond our understanding" and never truly
believe it. Rom. 11:33-36 tells us this wonderful truth about our
Creator. Do we believe? I will pray for you as I pray for me, that we
truly believe this great truth this passage has for us. That the eyes of
your hearts be opened to this that you may take solace as a child in his
Father's care. He truly does know and do things beyond our
comprehension. He loves Ben and your family more than we could ever
imagine in our finite minds. He is Ben's Lord and Saviour. He is Ben's
King of Kings. He is Ben's Comforter. I love you all,

Hey Guys,
I am so glad to hear that Ben is waking up well. Mckinley was a terror
when she woke up from radiation. They had to give her happy medicine
before she would wake up. Much anticipation on our side right now.
McKinley's EUA is only a week away. I believe and trust in God, but you
know as a parent, way down deep in your stomach is turning. We are
praying for no new cancer and tumor shrinkage. We pray for you guys
constantly. I am going to send you a little something through the mail,

Jenn: Today, like so many days you are in our first prayers. We pray,
then we check for an update, then we pray again & again & again, all the
day long. Your ministry has not only reached the many families, doctors,
& staff members in Memphis, but the 1,000's who watch the update, whose
prayer lives have grown stronger & more fervent, who seek the Word for
strength & encouragement, & in all of us, there is hope by which there
is faith. For faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence
of things not seen. All this because of a dear little boy. I used to
have 'a list' of things I was sure I would want to ask God when I see
him. Then I realized that I won't need to ask, I'll know. Why Ben?

Thinking
of you guys. I just can't believe all that has happened in the past
month. Stay focused, stay strong, and KEEP BELIEVING!! That is so hard
to do at times, but what choice do we have. My 35 year old neighbor
passed away suddenly last week. She went in hospital Sunday and passed
away Tues. They said it was an infection around her heart, but not
exactly sure at this time. She left behind a loving husband and 2
precious daughters. 13 and 9 years old. Her husband is the girls stepdad
and their biological father isn't a part of their life. Such a hard time
for these girls. Another example that no one is guaranteed tomorrow on
earth. Enjoy life and enjoy each other. Ben is so strong and he has
brought so many together in prayer and worship. He may just be one of
God's great miracles. Still praying.

We are
praying for Ben and the family. I am a member of Elmwood Baptist Church,
Barboursville, and Ben is on our prayer list. Our beloved youth pastor,
Ryan Massie, (South Point) has asked prayer for Ben and the Bowen family
and well as many other members of our congregation. We place our trust

I'm glad
I had the chance to chat with Jennifer yesterday. The strength you all
have can only be blessing from God. We've begun planning something
special for you all. My sons' Youth Group at church in now involved.
They're running a fundraiser in October specifically for "Ben and his
family". We will be encouraging the teenagers involved to visit Ben's
web-site, as my family has been doing. We have been praying for you ALL
each and every day, and believe that our Lord will continue to bless you

Heather McIlrath's website. Their little girl is doing beautifully. Our
entire town praises God for that miracle. I heard a commerical about a
company that installs heating and cooling systems and works with the
Make-A-Wish Foundation. I immediately thought of you. Its luxaire.com

us know why we are here or our purpose. Ben reminds us of the higher
good and how God loves us all. It is so good to hear about his climbing,
playing and being an ornery little boy. I love it. Patient of the month.
WOW.. He has charmed them right into giving him awards. He and Eli are
so handsome. None of us know how long we are here. Perfectly healthy
