I having
been praying for little Ben and your family. I attend Lone Oak Church Of
God Mission with Nathan and Julie. Our Church had a special prayer for
Ben at our Wendesday evening service. I have been keeping updated on his
progress after surgery. The ladies that I work with had a benefit for
your family on July 31, and raised $2500.00, we will be forwarding a
check to you this week. I know this money won't heal Ben but, I know the
one that can. I hope that it will help you to continue to stay with him.

Jennifer, Ben and Eli....what a truly special family you all are and so
blessed to have one another. You are an inspiration to so many as both
Chriatian's, friends, and family! Thank you for sharing your story. Eli
- Ben must be so proud of his big brother! I know you love him very much
- and he you as well. You have been faced with some pretty tough things
for such a little man...things that are hard for even us grown ups to
understand. Cry when you need to, yell when you have to, and pray
through it all Eli - your friend Hanna is up there on a cloud in Heaven
watching over you always now. I know you want her here with us - we all
do. She will never leave your heart. God bless each of you! You are all
in our prayers and we are praying for that miracle for Ben and for

Dear Tom,
Jennifer and Eli and dear Ben, My eyes are full of tears as I write this
after reading the up-date of 8/14, but my heart is full of hope, of
faith, of love and of prayer for you. How wonderful that Tammy and David
were able to be at your side yesterday! What strength and faith they
have shown. We continue to remember Hanna and know she is watching over

God and
radiation... a story of hope. We pray for Jeff. Jeff is my SIL. 1995
diagnosed non-Hodgkins lymphoma stage IV ... 1996 chemo... 1997 BMT...
1998 relapse (2 tumors life threatening by location)and radiation (chemo
no longer a reasonable protocol)... one month after end of radiation
tumors shrunken...two months after radiation NO CANCER. Goals in 1998 to
reach his 40th birthday the next year and to see his children grow up.
2004 still NO CANCER. Jeff is 45 this year. The oldest child is in her
senior year and the others are now 15, 14 and 13. Jeff is a stay-at-home
Dad (calls himself a "kept" man - cancer doesn't take away humor) Jeff
has some lowered immunity issues to watch but is accieving his goals.
Prayer works!

Hey Guys.
I am so glad that Ben is doing so great after his surgery. He is one
special little guy. I pray the tumor doesn't grow between now and the
23rd and radiation can begin. I hope Eli is doing okay - I know it is a
lot for someone his age to understand when adults have a hard time

Praise
God for some good news! We were in a very similar situation with Jay
back in February. We discovered that despite 4 months of Chemo, Jay's
cancer had spread all over his brain. He ended up in ICU for 12 days
with uncontrollable seizures and stopped breathing several times.
Radiation Therapy became our last resort. By God's mercy and after 6
weeks of high dose radiation, Jay is now home and cancer free. Miracles
do happen...and our God is able. "Against all hope, Abraham in hope
believed...without weakening in his faith"(Romans 4:18-19). "Don't be
afraid; just believe"(Mark 5:36). We will continue to pray for your
family and for Ben.

Guys, sorry I haven't signed in a while. Knowing you are busier now then
when I should have signed, I wanted to let you know that you are in our
prayers and you are never out of our minds. We all know that God has a
plan for us all, and you never think he would do something like this to
a child. He is the only one that is able to answer anything and at some
point and time, we will know his plans. I am greatful to hear the
