Dear
Bowens,
Your friends and family are surrounding you with love as you hold vigil
with your sweet little Ben, can you feel it?
As your hospice workers can probably tell you, people that are preparing
to leave this world are in touch with the angels. My grandmother was
speaking to her mother and sisters in her final days.
I look forward to seeing those angels when my time comes. Ben is getting
to see Hanna and Aaron and little Ben and Karley and the rest of the
sweet angels.
Sweet little Ben, may you be welcomed with love.
God Bless all of you at this sad but special time and give Eli all the
love you've got.

know that you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. Our many
prayers will be answered soon. Even if we don't see it physicially, Ben
will be healed. I know your greatest wish is to have him healed on
earth, so he can stay with you. God doesn't always give us what we want,
but He does give us what we need. If He takes Ben home to be with Him,
He will give you the peace and strength to get through that. And
remember, you will see your baby again. And he will be perfect, free
from all pain! And even if Ben lives to be 100 years old, his story will
live on forever. May God keep His strong arms around you. May He guard
Little Eli's heart at this time. Please let him know how much he is

Bowen Family! I am not sure if you even remember who I am. I am one of
the nurses who took care of Ben at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati. I
wanted to let you all know that I think about Big Ben and your family
everyday. Not a day goes by that I do not check his site. We all
continue to think about Ben at work! He is often the topic of
conversation. We all just love him and are so proud of him. Ben has
definitely given me a new outlook on life. I have learned not to take
things for granted anymore and to live life to its fullest. Ben has
forever made an imprint in my heart. When my daughter grows up, I can
promise that she will know all about Big Ben and how he has forever
changed her mommy's life. Please give Ben a hug for me. Your family will
