Ben, I am
praying hard for you sweetie to find the rest that is so desperately
needed. You are in my daily thoughts and all of my prayers. I wish that

It is
absolutely amazing how a child can touch so many lives.I cannot even
begin to imagine how Jennifer and Tom cope with all of this.Thank God
that they are not alone, they have a higher power.We can only pray for a
miracle, and at the same time realize that the end result is in the
Lord's hands.Big Ben keep smiling.Heaven is going to be so much

I have a
difficult time reading your journal entry at times. I envision what it
may be like and remember short times early in Isaiah's life where I have
witnessed BRIEF, but similar instances that I couldn't imagine enduring
for as long as your family. I sometimes wonder if I will see the days
you have now in our future. It is very scary. I feel so much pain when I
read about your situation. I will read my promise book of God when I
become discouraged, but at times I still find myself numb, confused. I
pray so hard everyday and even pray more that everyone praying with me
has the right words to manifest the healing we all want so desperately.
I read you entries and stare in amazement that you have found so much
through Ben that have I have found through Isaiah. It is as if you are
writing my thoughts. I will continue to pray for Ben. I am sure he is
more divine than you could ever hope to explain to anyone with words. I
have the same feeling for Isaiah. It is just an appreciation that is not
measurable in this realm of l

I found
your page through ST. Gabbie Paquette's site. I am soooo sorry you are
all going through this horrific time. We too held our son Luke as he
left his body to go be with God. He also had a brain tumor, but his was
an ependymoma. He was dx at 19months Feb'02 and died 23 days after his
3rd birthday- July 31st 2003. We feel like we literally went through
hell caring for him those last few days. We are blessed that God IS
faithful and sends His mercies NEW everyday. Our prayers and hearts go

Reading
your last few journal entries brought back memories of my daughter
Erin's last few weeks. We would literally pass her back and forth every
couple of minutes. It was like she couldn't concentrate and didn't know
what she wanted. She wasn't on much medication so I blamed her tumors.
When we finally had to put her on morphine her doctors said it would
help her sleep and get some relief from the pain. Little did they know,
there would be nights like your 4a.m. It was like having a newborn
again. I would sleep when she slept. Stay strong God is with you every
step of the way, even when you are sleeping. Praying for you tonight

tonight...I spoke to my daughter about you. She has a little girl (my
granddaughter) who is a cancer survivor. She just turned 10 years old. I
know God is the giver of miracles... Ben's life is a miracle, your

I read
through entries on your guestbook occasionally and I am so touched at
the thousands of people from all over the country and world that are
praying for you and Big Ben. God certainly does move in mysterious ways
and His plan for Ben is in action all over America. People who have live
100 years have never touched as many lives as he has in his short years.

Dear Ben,
Eli, Jennifer, and Tom, Words cannot express the emotions I feel for
what you are going through. Trust that God will continue to guide you in
caring for Ben during this time as he has during this time. I can share
a bit of your sorrow, frustration and at times anger at watching a loved
one go through the trials of cancer. We just found out yesterday that
Mom's cancer has metastatized into multiple sites in her brain. She
starts radiation Monday, but it will only give her a brief time. While
she has had a much longer time with us, it is still hard to see the end
coming. This cannot compare to what you are experiencing with Ben. I
only hope we can face her end with the grace, faith and dignity that you
have exhibited. God is truly at work in your lives, although we do not
know what that work is going to turn out to be. I continue to believe,
pray and trust. By the way, the best chocolate chip cookies I have found
are the Toll House ones on the back of the Nestle's Toll House chip bag.

I haven't
signed the guestbook in a long time- however I've been checking
faithfully and you all are in my prayers. About the cookies- my Mother
was always voted the "Best Chocolate Chip Cookies" in the neighborhood.
Follow the reciepie on the back of the Nestle chocolate chips- but only
add the flour in a 1/4 cup at a time until the dough is firm enough to
be molded but not stick to your finger if you poke it! This can be
anywhere from 2 cups to 3 1/2, depending on the humidity, egg size, etc.

Dear Tom
and Jennifer, I have been constantly reminded by the Holy Spirit to pray
for you these last few days. I am so sad to hear about Ben's discomfort
and know that no parent could imagine witnessing their child in this
situation. I pray for strength for you both and Eli and pray God will
