I found
Ben's story through a friend's journal. I just wanted to send a little
note and prayer your way. I pray that there would be peace for Ben and
your family. I also pray for God's healing hand to be on Ben. Thank you
so much for sharing your son and his story with us.

I hate
what you all are going through right now. We think of you constantly,
and you know we are praying. The other day, I was at a memorial service
for the midwife who delivered my children, and I was introduced to
another woman there. She (knowing I am Easton's mom) told me that her
sister-in-law was running a marathon in honor of a lot of the kids she
checks on through our websites. Then the woman specifically brought up
Ben! So here I am in Orlando, talking to a complete stranger, and she
knows Ben's story. It never ceases to amaze me, and I hope you never
cease in finding comfort in knowing all of the lives your baby boy has
touched. All our love.

My dear
friends, what can be said through a time like this. Nothing. There is
nothing that anyone can say to you that will take away your hurt and
Bens pain, except the man from above. I have prayed so much for Bens
recovery. Maybe we need to start praying for Gods' will to be done. I
often thought about that through my moms hard times. I love you guys and
would talk Bens pain away anyday and put it on myself if I could.
Remember that God does heal and that God loves us each and everyone. I
will still continue to pray for Ben and your family. You have become
like family to me. I cry with you.

Not sure

how you feel so helpless and how much it hurts to see your child in so
much pain. Its been months now for me and still I have such a anger for

Jennifer, know our thoughts and prayers and hopes remain with Big Ben,
Eli, you and all the family. We know first hand the difficulties you are
going through, and continue to lift all of you up to the Lord. Just
remember, whatever the outcome, God is still in control, and Ben will
continue to be used for His glory. We see but glimpses of what God is
doing through all of this, but know that God is doing so much more with
this than even the many stories you do hear. It's been nearly 3 years
since our granddaughter went to see Jesus, and we still hear stories of
lives she touched. Hang in there, difficult days are upon you, but joy

Family: I check Ben's site at least 10 times a day just checking in on
you all. I usually do not sign the guestbook because I feel my words
won't help heal the pain you all feel. I have a 3 yr. old girl and 5 yr.
old boy and couldn't imagine watching them go through any pain and not
being able to fix it. I cry for you and your family continuously and
think about you all throughout the day and night. I am not a very
religious being but do hope for comfort for your family. Big Ben is a
brave little man and I can't imagine the vast amount of pain he is going
through. As Tom mentioned earlier "you wish you could change places with
Ben", I wish the same for myself that I could change places with Ben. I
can't stand to see a child in pain and would switch places without a
second thought. I hope the pain meds are beginning to work better and
that you all can get some much needed rest. Take Care and know that you
