I heard
about your story several months ago and have been keeping myself updated
with your family's "journey" since. I have come close to leaving
messages before but I didn't know what to say, now I just feel too
overwhelmed to not say anything. I can't explain how much I admire your
family's strength, courage, and faith. I am not a religious person but I
have to say, the more I read Ben's story, the more I so desperately want
to believe. I have an 18 month old baby boy who is the world to me (I
just had to go take a peek at him and give him another kiss as he
sleeps). I want you to know, by sharing your story about Ben, it has
made me realize more how precious my son truly is. It's like I have a
different perspective on life. Things that may have stressed me out in
the past, just roll off of my back. I now focus on how grateful I am for
what I do have, which is a whole lot. I am now making more time for my
son and really starting to enjoy the moment rather than always thinking

and family, I have been keeping up with you via Taylor Watson's
CaringBridge page for some time now. I just want to let you know that I
try to pray for you every time I bow my head. I can't begin to imagine
what you have all gone through, but through your writings I can
definitely see the touch of God. You're inspiring pictures and messages
and articles are so precious to me and I will ever hold you dear in my
heart even though we have never met. I pray that God will bring you
peace and good health in 2004. I'm praying for a miracle, but if that's

spent many years growing up in your Great-Grandparents Garten's house

Brian said that he would bring me down next week before we go back for
