Dear
Bowen family, I just wanted to let ou know that I continue to pray for
Ben and for all of you as well, as I have since the day I found out
about him in my monthly St. Jude letter. I am glad that he is staying
comfortable and that he is surrounded by such a loving family. May you
enjoy every second, every minute, every hour, every day with your
beautiful sons. God bless... ~Mel

I don't
know if I have ever signed the guestbook before but I have been
following Ben's story for months. I first learned of Ben through
Jonathan Summer's webpage and he and my son are fighting the same
illness. I think you guys are inspirational and I don't know how you
deal with all you are going through but to me it is amazing. Ben is so
blessed to have you in his life!!!

I have
been reading about Ben for a while now. Most days I leave this site in
tears. It is a strange mixture of sadness, awe, inspiration, joy, anger
and love. You don't know me but please know that I think about you guys.
The image of Ben with toys piled around him had me sobbing again but
with a smile on my face. He is so precious. Your family is so blessed to
know him. I have hesitated writing you because my word must seem so
empty - almost cruel knowing I do not face the pain your family is
facing. I wish there was something more I could say - something to make
it all just go away. Please know that Ben - and a lot of other
caringbridge kids - have taught me so much. I now never waste a minute
with my girls (2 and 6) and when I get tired and frustrated and can't
wait to get them to bed, I stop and Ben reminds me to cherish each
second. Ben gave me that gift and for that, I will be eternally
grateful. Please take care. I'm praying for Ben's peace and comfort.
Beth

Hey guys,
I just wanted to let you know that we will be coming through the area
tomorrow. I am not sure if we will stop or not but I will call. We
didn't get the greatest news today, but we have to hold on as Ben says.
Love you, Brian Amanda Joshua and McKinley

These
words still comfort me in my Daddy's battle with cancer....... "Cancer
is so limited . . . It cannot cripple Love. It cannot shatter Hope. It
cannot corrode Faith. It cannot destroy Peace. It cannot kill
Friendship. It cannot suppress Memories. It cannot silence Courage. It
cannot invade the Soul. It cannot steal eternal Life. It cannot conquer
the Spirit." Be encouraged by the faith of many believers bound together
by the Spirit of God. Yes, every day is SO precious!

We
continue to pray for Ben's miracle and are so glad that he's
comfortable. I love the story of the cookies! It's as if Ben is a wise
man in a little boy's body, as if he's grown and matured faster than the
rest of us can ever hope to grow. What an inspiring little man he is!
Our love goes out to all of you. Hugs, Ellen

Dear
Bowen Family - Ben's story was forwarded to me through a prayer chain
and I have spent the last two hours getting to know your family through
the website. How lucky you are to have Ben and how lucky he is to have
you! Your faith humbles me. I can only imagine the emotions that you go
through on a daily basis, and you still take the time to share your
experience. I pray today and will continue to pray that God holds all of
you in his hands and gives you the strength that you need to make this
difficult journey. God is good and he has a plan for Ben. I will never
look at my seventeen year old son again without thinking about how
blessed I am. Your story has reminded me of how precious life is. All of
my love to you.

I never
really know what to say. Every day I sit at the computer and read the
updates and every day I pray for your strength and wisdom. I would love
for God to heal Ben and take away his tumor, oh what a praise would be
heard all over the world. I don't understand why things happen but I
know that God has a master plan and sometimes we don't see the whole
picture. Ben has touched my families life forever. I think we as a
family see the world differently and see Isaac differently. We
appreciate each and every moment as a gift, a true gift. We love your
family and you are always in our prayers. The Massie Family

Little
Ben you are such a precious angel. God brought you to this world for
many purposes, and it is good to see that even through all the pain and
strife your mommy and daddy realize God's work, and keep their faith in
him. My mom, Debra Pauley checks on you daily. She cries almost everyday
because your story touches her. Well now I now why. You all are
definitely in our prayers. Love and God Bless You and your family, The

Ben - We
are praying for you constantly, but know you are in very good hands.
Rachel - Hang in there sweetie. You are strong and you can pull through
this. Tom and Jennifer and Eli - The Lord is with Ben. It is obvious in
everything you write. Use that, trust in him and realize we are all here
praying and pulling for you. I wish there was more we could all say and
do. We will continue to pray as individuals, as a family and as a
community for you and all the other St. Jude families. Dawn Sykora

Sounds
like God is using Ben in the most wonderful way right now, to help Mommy
and Daddy find peace. What a precious, precious thing, to know in your
soul how much you are loved, not only by your children, but by our
Father in heaven who has loaned them to us. Still believing, praying,
hoping, and loving, in Christ's name.

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, Eli and Big Ben - You are all on my mind everyday. I pray for
peace and for Gods will and for everyone to accept Gods will. However,
As the mother of 3 young boys, my heart breaks for you. As I read your
updates tears run down my face, for I do not believe I could hold my son
and kiss him without completely breaking down. You all are very strong
and it is clear to me that God is helping everyone as you travel this
road. Eli is a very brave and strong big brother and I'm sure that is
helping Big Ben be so strong and brave. You are a wonderful family.

Dear
Bowen Family, I never quite know what to say. I wish I could ease and
comfort your family. I think about Ben all the time. I check the web
site every day. I am praying for all that you are asking and even more.
I appreciate everything your Ben has taught me and my family. Especially
all the time we spend together as a family is very special and not to
take anything for granted. It's so cute to hear Ben has all his toys
piled up on your lap with him. We keep praying for that Miracle. Love,
Vanessa Ashley

My Dad
died at the age of 48 from Cancer. He never got to meet my sons. He
never knew what it was like to be a Grandfather. But there were so many
things we did have. A lot we had. He always said it was the quality not
the quantity of life. Looks to me that you are missing a thing. Just
treasuring the time you have been given. Praying for healing, comfort
and peace for you all.

I just
wanted to say hi and I wanted to Thank You for putting my son noah on
Bens website for people to pray for him. Thank You! I pray every night
that God would do a Miracle with our sons. I wish I new why we as
parents have to go through such pain, I sometimes think maybe it was to
make is stronger and bring us closer more to the lord. I know what your
going through and it is so hard to go through this, Iam so tired and in
so much pain. But we just have to leave it to God because he knows what
to put in our lives and what to take out and I pray for our kids, and
