Dear Big
Ben and the entire Bowen Family, I recently "met" you at St. Jude over
the summer during the Up Til Dawn seminar in Memphis this past June.
Since then, I have been following Big Ben's story, and I have been
changed for the better through your amazing little boy. I have learned
not to take anything for granted, and that hugs and kisses, just telling
someone how important they are, and being around those that you love
means more than anything else. I am praying for you and your family
during this holiday season.

We
recently moved from Graham, Wa where we lived since 1990. We were told
we couldn't have children and God knew better we were blessed with
Matthew 4/91 our Matthew Alten " big boy" had ALL in 1994,relapse in
1998 with the lost of his left eye from leukemia then a bone marrow
transplant 4 great years before a brain tumor Praise Jesus Matthew is
totally restored and whole in heaven Nov 6 03 AT 12 1/2 yrs old he
restored our marriage and renewed my faith in Jesus We will see him
again in glory Dear Bowen family as sad as this tumor as taking from
dear Ben his impact is great in God's economy Ben is touching lives for
the kingdom and every moment numbers I know your sorrow and pain and
lost of not being able to see this child grow up but sometimes God has
bigger plans for lil folk like Ben and Matthew to reach others for HIM.
I pray the Lord will restore Ben on earth but if not in heaven yes it is
hard we know and will pray for you all and look to the day when we are
celebrating together what a day that will be this world is not my

Dear
Jennifer and family, I am thinking of you this holiday season and
wishing words of comfort to your family. It is hard for me to put my
thoughts together in print but I am going to try and make sense.
Watching Ben and your family through these difficult times has helped me
in dealing with a terminal illness in my family. My father is ill and my
family has been going through tough times. I read your thoughts on the
power of prayer and find comfort in your words. Ben, you are a special

As
Christmas is almost upon us, I pray that God holds you forever in his
loving hands, and that he guides you through this most difficult time in
your lives. I will continue to pray for your Christmas miracle. May he
bring your every wish this holiday season. Ben stay strong little man,
you are a fighter, keep believeing, always have hope. Eli, you are such
a wonderful young man, and so very strong. Keep up the great work, and
never never give up hope. To mom and dad, fear not for God will give you
the strength and wisdom to find the answers you are searching for and
are having a hard time finding. You will know through him, just keep
believeing. For he who brings you to it will bring you through it. If
anything I have learned through losing my mother to cancer at the age of
12, and my brother to a tragic accident at the age of 22, I have learned
that God is there to carry you through even when you cannot carry
yourself through it. He will be there for you always and he will carry
you through this, keep believeing for he is

have made such an impact on my life in such a short time. You're courage

and family, I work with David Pinnow and heard about your story through
hanna's page. I think that you are truly an amazing young man. Although
I have never met you I am truly inspired by the courage of you and your
family. As I read your updates I realize how precious life is and to
never take things for granted. I am sorry to hear that you are not
feeling well. I will continue to pray for you and your family. I am
hoping for a Christmas miracle although the way that you have touched so

Family, It is becoming harder and harder to think of anything to say
that could make any difference to you at all. Just know that I am with
you in my thoughts and prayers everyday, most all day. You are so right
that the miracle of Ben's Story in no way depends on life or death. His
miracle is ongoing and will continue to be. My heart cries for you. But
yet, I know you guys will be OK. God would not have brought you this far
unless he knew (that with his help) you could do what is needed. I'm
sure he is not nearly as surprised as the rest of the world at your
ability to keep faith, keep life as normal as possible, and give Ben
more love in the time you have than many will ever know. Also keep in
mind, as happy as Ben has been here with you, and with you guys doing

Beloved Bowen Family, I'm not sure you know what a blessing you have
been to people. Perhaps God will reveal that to you some day. Our last
Discovery Bible class at RC3 was on prayer. One of the passages we
looked at is in James 5. It talks about the elders praying over a sick
person and annointing him with oil in the name of the LORD. I thought of
Ben and prayed silently for his healing. May that Great Shepherd of the
sheep, the Lord Jesus who took the children in His arms and blessed them
strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being so that
Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith... and may you know this
love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of
all the fullness of God. Eph. 3:16 May the God of all comfort,the Lord
Jesus Christ bless you and keep you and make His face shine on you, and
be gracious to you; the Lord lift up His countenance on you, and give
you peace. Num.6:24-26.

Christmas to the Bowens!! I have been reading about Ben on the website
since Tuesday, November 9th, the very night I was introduced to your
family. Ya'll had received bad news from the hospital tests that day and
that evening, your family came to the Wolfchase Galleria Mall to visit
with Santa Claus. I remember the love in everyone's eyes, and it made me
realize how strong a family's faith can be. I printed extra pictures of
Ben and Eli, and I look at the picture many, many times during the day.
My prayer for your family this Christmas season is that each of you
treasure every second with each other, know that you are loved by
millions, and keep believing. Our God is an Awesome God and he has great
plans for Ben, and when God calls Ben home, his life will continue to
impact millions... As this time draws nigh, may God give you the
strength you need, the wisdom to recognize the time, and hope in the
future of your family and Eli.... Remember, Ben will remain in your
hearts FOREVER, as will your family remain in my memory
