Tom,
Jennifer & Eli, For these many months, we have prayed for you and with
you. Our purpose in this life is so hard to realize. Ben has shown us an
amazing purpose. It amazes me how a young man can be so strong. I think
God shows us things in sometimes subtle, and sometimes not so subtle
ways. I am honored to have known Ben. His life will always be
remembered. Please know that we are here if you need us. Our prayers

truly an angel now. As the Bible says, to be absent from the body is to
be present with the Lord. Your son did more in his short little life to
touch the lives of others than most of us could ever do. I pray for

I have
been following Ben's Story everyday for awhile now. Lastnights news of
Ben took my breath for a second...then I realized that he is now in a
much better place. I got news this morning that a very special friend of
mine passed away lastnight. She and her church always prayed for Ben.
Now I see them walking hand in hand to a better place. She really
thought alot of Ben and she too had cancer. I will continue to keep you
and your family in my prayers.

I hope
no-one gets mad at me, but I wrote a poem for Ben, and I have a lady at
Spiritsup.com who is willing to do a web page for it,, and put it out
for all the world to view,, so those who loved him from following all
that he was going through can read.. I took the latest picture from your
web site for her to use.. It is a poem of about all of the family and
little Ben and how He's with Jesus.. If you do not want the picture
there, I can ask her to remove it,, please this is my way of trying to
do something kind for ben too,as i have no money to give,, God Bless all
of you as you are in my prayers.. I truly hope you understand as i tried
to contact the family to get their permission.. I'm trying to get it on

We were
"introduced" to Big Ben through our dear friend Sweet Louie Hentz about
a year ago. We believe this is only the first chapter in Ben's Story and
we will undoubtedly see many more affirmations of God's endless love. In
a little more than two years, Ben changed hearts around the world and we

I have
been sick for a few days.. and just now got to take a look at Bens
Story. Ben is in a great place now. Where there is no pain, sickness,
hurt, nothing negative. I asked my grandfather when Ben arrived in
Heaven if he would be there to see him through Heavens Gates. I am sure
he did. Ben will always be in my heart... I pray for Tom, Jen, and Eli
for the comfort and the compassion they need to carry on. A lot of
people are right there with you holding your hand though you cannot see
us doing so. God Bless you all... may God be with you at this time of
need.

praying for a cure and praying for your family. As a mother of 4 and 2

God last night for Ben's sweet life and smile, and for the courage and
faith of each of you in sharing his story. I know its made changes in
the way that I look at my life and my actions and has done so with so

To the
Bowen family: I am so disheartened to hear that little Ben passed away
last night. By looking at your postings, it looks like this past week
has not been easy for you at all. I hope you can find even an ounce of
peace in your lives knowing that Ben is eternally safe and happy. His
story has inspired so many people, including me. I never paid attention
to St. Jude's before, and I unfortunately admit that I would change the
channel when the annual phonathon fundraiser came on TV. Last night,
just a few hours after Ben died, I was celebrating our Up 'til Dawn
party at the University of St. Thomas. We watched Ben's slide show, and
I'm certain most people choked up looking at the beautiful pictures of
Ben and your family. He looked so happy in every captured moment. He was
a joyful blessing to you, Tom, Jennifer, and Eli. He may be gone, but
through all of the things you and St. Jude's have done, his memory and
spirit will definitely live. I will wear my "Big Ben" bracelet with

You're in
my thoughts and prayers. I pray that God will draw your family up close
and give you the strength you need to wake-up and face each day. I think
about Ben and how many of his couragous friends were waiting on him to
come home yesterday. He won his race and is now in the arms of Jesus and
the best part is God will truely say "Well done my good and faithful
servant" Mr. and Mrs. Bowen how proud you must be of your boys and your
