Jennifer, and Eli. I am sorry to hear of your loss. But do know that he
is in a better place with no pain. He will continue to be in our
thoughts and prayers. He will be missed dearly but not forgotten. He has
made a huge impact on so many peoples lives, that people across the
world love him so much and your whole family. I feel as if i know you
all from just reading his story. Eli i know its going to be hard to deal
with as such an early age but god will be with you and your family to

can adequately describe the deep sorrow I feel for the 3 of you, I have
been following Ben's story since last July and knew that my heart would
break if something happened to him and he didn't beat the cancer, but I
have a sense of relief for him, because he has beaten the cancer, he has
fought the good fight, and run the race, and Heaven truly is sweeter
now, and many lives are forever changed,including my own, because of the
great courage you showed in sharing your "precious angel's" story with
the world. I feel a better understanding for what Jesus said in Mark
10:14 "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not,
for of such is the Kingdom of God. I can just imagine how thrilled Jesus
must be to take Big Ben in His arms and take away all the pain and
tears. I am praying for you both and especially for little Eli, that
Jesus would wrap his arms of peace and comfort around you all. Thank you
so much for sharing the story of such a "hero"; my life is changed. In

I read your entry hours ago. I have tried and tried to find words that
are even in the vicinity of sufficient. Those words don't exist. My
heart is broken, but my spirit is not. I'm trying very hard to be happy
for Big Ben. His troubles are over now--no more pain or needles or
cancer. I am just so sad that you have lost a son and Eli has lost a
brother. I hope with all my heart that Eli will remember what a
wonderful brother he was to Ben. I love you all and pray for your
comfort during this time of unbelievable pain and sadness. Be strong,
friends.

Dear
Jennifer, Tom and Eli, I have been following Ben's story everyday and
when I checked tonight I was deeply saddened. I didn't know him but he
really made an impact on my life. What a happy little boy. Knowing he is
pain free and with God and other little angels will help you through the
rough times ahead. I pray for Eli and know this is so much for him to

I would share a verse that I love. "Then shalt thou call, and the LORD
shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am." Isiah 58:9

you peace and comfort knowing that Ben is in his arms, and he is with

Jennifer, and Eli, Thank you so very much for allowing Ben to fully
serve his purpose while here on earth. I thank the Lord that you are
believers and have submitted your will to God and have allowed His will
to come to pass. You most certainly have been a great servant to the
Lord by exemplifing faith, obedence, thankfulness, and peace in
difficult times...Your example, Ben's example, has impacted people all
over the Globe, I can not help considering what Eli has learned from
your faithfulness. I know he fills much pain and sorry at this time, but
I can not imagine what a great Man he will become in the years ahead.
Ben's purpose was to plant seed, to exhibt Joy in pan, strength in
weakness, and fath inspite of fear, and i am certain the Lord sad to Ben

Dear Tom,
Jennifer,and Eli, Its hard to believe that its been almost a year since
I first met you. I was one of the student nurses taking care of Big Ben
at Lebonheur in Memphis after his second surgery. Since then, I have
continued to pray for Ben and for you all. I often check your webpage
for updates. I was sad to read today that the race was over. I'm
heartbroken, yet happy because Big Ben is in a much better place and he
is no longer hurting. He will never have to experience pain again. My
prayers continue to go out to your family. I'm so glad to have met you
months ago, although you may not remember. Its amazing to see the grace
of God thru you. You never gave up. God Bless you and your family. One
day we will meet again...
