Bowen's:
I just wanted to praise you in realizing how important it is for Ben to
know it is "ok to go". I went through this with my younger brother who
passed away in September. When we thought the end was nearing, our
family let him know it was ok for his to join our mother in heaven. He
said he "knew that", he was waiting to hear it from his wife. The next
day, they laid together and she told him...less than two minutes later,
he peacefully stopped breathing. Although the heartache is too great to
bear sometimes, I pray that Big Ben understands that he has left such an
impact on so many people (ESPECIALLY his parents and brother), and that
he will rejoice in the Lord's presence and that he may choose to go to

Still
praying and thinking about you guys daily, even though we have never
met. Ben we pray that you will have your pain lifted, and sitting on
Jesus's lap and dancing with the angels (I heard that song on the way to
work this morning that is a powerful song and the first thing that came
to my mind was my dad has to be dancing with the angels and soon Ben
will dance with them also) Our local area had that country radiothon
here in Nebraska and I listened for the whole day and didn't hear Tom
talking at all I was wanting to hear it. Our area raised $129,000 for St
Jude which they said was a record for our per capital hopefully that
will stop some other kids from suffering. I became a partner in hope in

You guys
are in my thoughts and prayers daily. My prayer is that you guys would
feel the "blanket" of God's peace around you at this time. I read the
other day in the guest book several entries from across our nation and
around the world. It is an amazing testimony that you all have and your
story is changing people that you will never know. How awesome! Such a

All
children are miracles! I have a little 22 mos old baby named Ben also. I
can not even imagine what your family is going through. I have been a
pledger to St. Jude since September and it is a wonderful charity. Ben
has touched my life even though I have never met him. As a mother my
heart breaks for you. You all are in my prayers and thoughts everyday.
Ben is a beautiful and special baby boy.

I'm a
mother of a 16 month old boy. I've been following Bens story since last
April when our photograper Sara Poe told me about him. Ben has taught me
so much about being a mother. I let my son Jack play a little more, make
bigger messes and always give him a few extra hugs because I realize
what a blessing I've been given. I pray for your family each day. I sent
the paper a letter suggesting that they nominate Ben for citizen of the
year for his inspiring story. Thank you all for sharing your journey
with us. When I think of you all, the only thing that comes to mind is
Amazing Grace.

a link to Ben's site from the Scott's site and am once again incredibly
saddened by what I see. We've followed Allie's fight from the beginning,
hoping and praying for a miracle...today and each day after, we will do
the same for Ben and your family. This disease is taking too many
beautiful children and adults from us. Please know that tonight my girls
will add Ben to our night prayers. We'll keep your family in our
thoughts. I can't imagine your pain, but I hope that knowing one more

& FAMILY, THE OTHER DAY MY 11YR. OLD SON CAME HOME FROM SCHOOL AND THE
FIRST WORDS OUT OF HIS MOUTH WEREN'T "HI" OR "I'M HOME"...THEY WERE
"MOM, WE'VE GOTTA HELP BEN!" THAT DAY AT SCHOOL, ONE OF HIS TEACHERS HAD
BROUGHT IN A MAGAZINE THAT CONTAINED AN ARTICLE ABOUT BEN'S STORY. THE
CLASS READ IT AND DISCUSSED HOW THEY COULD HELP BEN AND HIS FAMILY. I
FOUND THIS TO BE VERY TOUCHING, COMING FROM AN 11YR. OLD BOY (AT THAT
AGE THEY'RE NOT VERY INTERESTED IN ANYTHING MORE THAN SPORTS AND VIDEO
GAMES) WE TALK ABOUT BEN AND GET ON THE WEBSITE TO SEE HOW HE'S DOING.
YOUR FAMILY IS IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. I WISH YOU STRENGTH THROUGH

of a 19 month old my first reaction is to say "How do you do it?" As a
Christian, I KNOW the answer! What an encouragement to see people bless

Ben's site. My heart just broke as I was reading his story. I want you

brother ben, but just remember that jesus is watching over both of you

I came to
your site from a link posted on the Scotts site. I prayed for their
sweet Allie and I will do the same for your family and Ben. I get so
angry that these horrible diseases are taking these beautiful innocent
children. As a mother of a two year old I can not fathom the pain you
are feeling. I really cant. I do know that in times where you feel as if
