I just
wanted to say im really for the loss of you son...I was reading about
him when i was doing current events for school and by what is on his
page is insprirational and i know that God will be there throught this
and that he can help...I feel the pain you are going through when my
grandma passed away this October and when my mom lost her baby....I just
wnated to tell you im truly sorry and i will pray for you and your
family...

Tom,
Jennifer and Eli, my heart is so heavy to hear that Big Ben has passed
on - please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers - - Ben
fought hard, and now the fight is over and he is no longer in pain - - I
know the coming days and months will be hard, but just remember the good
memories you have, remember Disney World, and the words "tickle,
tickle". I have been following Ben's story since I met your family in
November, 2004 when you visited Santa Claus at the Mall. THANK YOU for
sharing Ben and his story. He will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.

family has for him pouring out with every link I click. Eli is such a
wonderful big brother, and he is so strong and brave, just like Ben. God

Hi. I'm
very sorry for the loss of your son, he was big new's to everyone at the
school i attend. Chesapeake High School, not only would i could keep
updated on Big Ben i would hear new's from your friends also. He was a
brave baby. And he's with the Lord now, and will never be hurting again.

I pray
that God will be with in you and your family !! I pray that you find the
inner strength to manage through these times. I am also a mother that
lost her young child, though my child did not suffer from the same
ailments as Ben, losing a child is very difficult. Times may be very
hard and life does seem to be unfair as you go through the emotions of
your lose. I find strength in a certain scripture, it's Romans 8:28,
"And we know that all things work together for food to those who love
God, to those who are called according to His purpose." I hope that you
too will find strenght in His word. May God bless you and be with you
every day !!!!

My family
is so sorry for your loss of Big Ben. He was one of a kind, when God
made him he threw the mold away, becuase he was such a special little
boy. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family. No one knows
what you are going through only God and he tells us he will not give us
more than we can bear. We hope you can find the courage and strength
that Ben showed to help you in this difficult time. Ben will never be
forgotten here on earth, he will be remembered as a very special little
guy, who left his dear family before his time, but God has important

followed Ben's story for about the past six months. I was deeply
saddened to find out that he had passed away. However, I know that he is
in a better place now. Your family has touched so many lives by sharing

I left
for Atlanta on Friday and just got home tonight. My heart is broken for
Tom, Jennifer and Eli, but my heart is rejoicing for Ben's soul. Only
the grace of God and His love can get you through this. I have come to
love Ben through this site, as I am sure many people have. We will all
grieve with you, but we will not grieve as the unbelievers do, for we
KNOW where Ben is and Who he is with. Oh what a wonderful day when we

followed Ben's story for quiet sometime now. My family and I have fallen
in love with this little boy. But we understand that God had bigger
plans for him, and we know that he is cure from his sickness now. He's
in a better place waiting for the rest of us to get there. My family and

3)..This may not be a typical 'condolances' responce, but then again, I
tend to be that way sometimes. It in no way is meant to take away the
importance of the love for Thomas, but is meant to help heal the wounds
of a love that was removed from the world. We cannot bring Thomas back,
but I think that even if we could, Thomas would be saying "No, not right
now mommy, I'm trying to teach Rex to fetch the ball, can I stay here
for a little while longer? can I? Pleaaaaase?! Father says I'll see you
soon anyhow, so can I stay?" Do not be angry with God or anyone. Do not
blame yourself thinking that you had not the faith, and do not lose the
faith that you do have. It is that faith, faith in an everlasting life,
faith in the Father and His Son, that will enable you to see Thomas
again. He is alive and well.

2)... You might have prayed: "God, I want him to live" "God, I want him
to have a full life" "God, I want him to be happy" "God, I ask that your
will be done" You know what? The Father heard your prayers. He answered
"YES" to all of them, and took him to the only place that God knew that
would satisfy all of those needs. Home, to be with Him. He is watching
Thomas now, playing with other friends, and I imagine, he probably even
has a puppy now. God so loves the children! Tell the children that God
is babysitting Thomas for a few years, but they'll see him again when
they get to the Father's house. Explain this to the children, so they do
not think of God as being 'mean', He is not.
