Bowens, I have kept you in my prayers and was overjoyed to see that you
have a new baby on the way. I am so glad that you have not let Ben's
passing stop you from growing your family. And although his sibling will

Bowens! How exciting about baby #3! Congratulations! God is so good,
isn't He? Things have been so hectic lately (especially with all of my
family members moving this spring!) and we regret that we haven't had
time to sign the Guestbook in a while. But we just wanted to let you all
know that you remain at the very top of our prayer lists. We think about
you all the time and continue to wear our wristbands daily, remembering
Ben each time we look at them. Since Ben's funeral, we've heard several
of the songs that were played there and they never fail to take us right
back to that day and to the midst of God's glory in Ben's life. We miss
Ben, too. We can't fathom how much you miss him, but we appreciate your
honesty with your emotions--it helps us to, in some small way, bear your
burden with you. Your perseverance and strength through each long week,
day and hour without Ben really encourages us to press on through
whatever burdens we have. We know you all are busy, but if you ever get

Congratulations!!! What wonderful news! I wanted to let you know that we
bought a luminary in memory of Ben from Cross Roads UMC Youth Group for
the Relay for Life last Friday. Claire drew Cinderella's castle on it
since I had told her and Michael how your family loves Disney World. We

I know we
didn't get to know each other except in passing in Memphis but I just
wanted to let you know that you all conitnue to be in our thoughts and
prayers. Having walked and still walking in your shoes I understand the
pain. Sometimes it is so great nothing I journal could do it justice.
