Jennifer - thank you for sharing Ben's story with us. It touched my
heart so deeply... I'm so sad that Ben is no longer with you but please
be happy for him - he is now pain free, playing and smiling and he is
with Jesus in heaven(what a great place to be!!!). I actually can see
Ben smiling to you and feel his happiness. I know you miss him but your
separation from Ben is ONLY TEMPORARY. Remember that. Dear Eli - please
know, that even if you don't see Ben...he is ALWAYS with you and he
loves you more than you could ever imagine. ALWAYS. Ben - I thank God
for you. I have a 5 months old son and after reading your story I know
that every moment with him is even more precious than I though before. I
love him more deeply because of you. Thank you my sweet little BIG Ben
for remembering me what is really important in life. I didn't know you,

Jennifer-No words can express how you all feel. I never met Ben
personally, but he's on my mind all day, so I cannot even fatham how you
all are feeling or what you are thinking. Ben had a precious smile that
could bring even the strongest to their knees, and right now he's
looking down, smiling at you and telling you to be strong because you'll
meet again one day. Thank you for sharing his story and I will continue
to read the updates on your website. Eli-your baby brother is no longer
in pain and no longer suffering. He is in Heaven now watching you while
you sleep and play, and smiling at everything you do. I bet he is so
proud to be your little brother.

Bowen Family Thank You for sharing Ben's Story with me. My heart aches
for the pain that you must feel. I break down in tears everytime I hear
his name or think of how you all must feel. You all have been so strong.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers every day. Ben was such a
beautiful baby! Thank you for having such faith! Your story has changed
my life and made me realize how special each moment is with my 20 month
old little boy. There is nothing anyone can say to ease your pain, just
keep believing. When you miss him, which I know will be every minute of
every day look up and talk to him. You know he is smiling down with that

not helping her, but she won't give up. Ben seems like he was a really

I am
truly touched by Big Ben's story. I had never heard anything about this
until watching channel 7 news, the day of the funeral. I saw Ben's site
and immediately logged on. It has taken me 4 days to read everything and
my heart goes out to you and your family. You all are truly blessed
by"God's great grace" in never losing your faith ( amazing }. I will
continue to pray for your family and an urgent cure for this disease.

I just
received my Big Ben wristband today in the mail, and just wanted to tell
you guys how proud I am to put it on, wear it, and tell others about
your family. I'm so sorry that Ben had to be taken away from this Earth
to have such an impact on the world, but what an impact he had!! If we
were all only "big" enough to bring so many others to their knees for
the Lord. Thank you so VERY much for sharing this story with all of us.
I know you've heard it over and over, but the difference your family has
made in the lives of so many is incredible. I hope these days are
bringing some peace and beautiful reminders of your precious little boy
who meant so much to you, and the thousands of us out here who may have

The Bowen
family, I can not imagine the pain, hurt, and sadness you are going
through. I can not stop reading about Big Ben and all the struggles he
faced. Every time I log onto his site my heart fills with sadness and my
eyes with tears. Although I never had the blessing of meeting your
little boy his story has touched my life in many ways. Ben has made me
realize the distance I have placed between God and myself in recent
times and it was Ben and his story that has brought me back to prayer.
My fiancé will be a pediatrician this May and I pray that he can be as
powerful and strong in knowledge as Ben's doctors were. I wear my "Big
Ben" bracelet with pride and in remembrance and will continue to do so.
Ben is in a better place with no pain or hurt, and ben and your family

We got
our "Big Ben" bracelet today and after getting it away from my son,
Jared, I am now wearing it. I will be making a trip to the Hallmark
store, tomorrow, to get more. Also, there are quite a few orders for
bracelets that a girl from church took up and gave to me to get before
Sunday. I am proud to wear this bracelet and wanted you to know it. You

Dear Tom,
Jennifer, and Eli, Thinking about you tonight and praying for God's
comfort and peace to abide with you moment by moment. We are so heart
broken over Ben and can't imagine what you must be feeling. Sami and
Katie were very upset that we didn't bring them to the visitation the
other night. Sami is especially sensitive and I was afraid she wouldn't
handle it well. She made me promise to tell you she " I hope you feel
better. I am sorry Ben died but he is in heaven now with Jesus. I am so

I am so
sorry to hear of your loss. Anytime a child is taken from the earth it
is saddening, but when it is due to cancer, leukemia, or any of the
terrible childhood diseases it is especially disheartening. In 1993 my
family was affected by the loss of little Andrew Thomas, as his family
attended our church. May God use Big Ben as a beacon of hope and love in
our small area, in hopes that one day these terrible diseases will be a
thing of the past. My thoughts and prayers are with Ben, his family,
extended family, and especially little Eli. God bless you all.

I got
home from work tonight to find my Big Ben bands had come in the mail. I
was crying when I put mine on. Savannah came and hugged me, and said
"don't cry Mommy, Ben is with Hanna and Jesus, and when I get to heaven
I'm gonna give him a big, big, great hug." Heartbroken, but believing
with all my heart that one day, I too, will give Ben a "Big, big, Great
hug".
