Tom,
Jennifer, Eli: You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult
time. I have followed Big Bens story for quite some time, I have felt
your joys and shared in your sorrows, and my heart breaks for you at
this time. May the confort knowing that God will carry Ben on the rest
of his journey confort you in some way. God bless and your family will
be in our prayers.

What a
beautiful "Home Going" service, I don't think anyone will ever forget
it! Ben's life has made a permenant imprint on our lives! Tonight after
our family devotions, Jeremy,9, prayed for you and when he was finished
he said,"At least Ben is living more in heaven than he did here on
earth"! WOW,God so often speaks to us through our children, if we would
just listen!!No wonder God said,"For such is the kingdom of Heaven"! We
love you and continue Believing, Jeff&Marie, Greg, Geoff,& Jeremy ><>

My fiance
sent me a story about Ben just a few weeks ago. The second I saw that
you were raising money for St. Jude's I bought one of the bands. Since
then, I bought another for my sister, and while visiting Huntington for
a Student Leadership Conference, I bought another. I want to tell you
how sorry I am for your loss, but believe me, he touched my life, and I
never met Ben, so I can only imagine what he did for you!! My thoughts
and tears are with you.

His
strength is perfect when our strength is gone...He'll carry us when we
can't carry on - isn't it good to know that when we are weak our God is
so strong. Each time I passed the bill board in Huntington with Ben's
huge smile I was touched - even though he was so young, he was a mighty
man of God. Please know that Kenova United Methodist Church continues to
pray for your family. May God surround you with his angels to comfort
you and give you rest.

I wrote a
poem for your family, and would love to share it with you. I posted it
on a poetry website with a link to Ben's site, in hopes that the Lord
might use his story to touch even more people... I hope you don't mind.
Love in Christ, Megan Fitzwater 'Brave Little Soldier' for little Ben
Bowen ~ 11/14/02-02/25/05 Today we cried for you. We didn't even know
your name until your little face was broadcast on the local news. The
reporters told a story about a beautiful boy who was fighting so hard
for his life. We prayed for you. Your family's faith is real. They
shared you with the world. And those of us who chose to follow your
story are thankful for that. We learned so much from you. Life is a
precious gift. We should never take for granted days we have with those
we love. You taught us to be thankful for all the little things. We are
certain your life was not an accident. It was a blessing. Your mommy and
daddy are heartbroken, and your big brother Eli too. Our prayers are

I just
wanted you to know the day Ben died I cried, not because of his
struggles, but that they were all over. My daughter cried, because over
the past few weeks we've watched the stories on Ben, and she understood,
how sick he was, she's only 7, My thoughts and prayers are with you and
your family, please take care.

My
deepest sympathy and thoughts and prayers go out to this family. Little
Ben was a blessing to you. He was an angel that God sent to you. Brenda
told me about Ben and my prayers have been with you for awhile. I wish
you strength in this hard time. I see pictures of this little angel and
I get lost in the love in his eyes. He was a special little guy! God
bless you!!

My heart
aches for your family today. I just want you to know that you are all in
my family's thoughts and prayers, especially Eli - this is too much for
a little boy to comprehend. I hope you feel in your hearts that Ben was
also blessed in his life here on earth. What wonderful parents and
brother he had on his journey. You can tell from his spirit and his
constant smiles that he was smiled at, loved on, and adored every second
of his life. God bless you and help you find some comfort tonight and
every day forward. I will keep you in my prayers.

Tom,
Jennifer, and Eli I know that I don't have any words that will make your
pain go away; however, I can imagine that the outpouring of love and
support that you have had the last few days add some comfort. At first
it amazed me that Ben has touched so many lives; however, then I am
reminded that Ben was sent by our Heavenly Father to offer this world
that we live in Hope, Healing, and a reason to have Faith. Although his
time was short on this earth, if it could be measured on the impact he
had, it would wrap around the world 1,000 times. God must have and still
does think a lot of each of you to allow you to spend 2 1/2 precious
years in Ben's presence. I have no doubt that God will continue to use
each of you. The words "gone but never forgotten" could not have put
together for anyone other than "Big Ben Bowen". Eli - you are also a
specail little boy. Please continue to give your Mom and Dad many
reasons to laugh and be very proud of you. Love and Prayers, Michelle,
Andy, and Jared

Tom and
Jennifer, I pray that you can rest knowing that Ben is the arms of our
Lord and his sweet body is free of pain. I know it's hard to let go, but
know that you've fought a good fight and done the best for Ben that
could have been done. You are admired by so many. God is shining his
light around you and working through you. I stopped in my classroom
today and prayed for you at two. My thoughts were on your broken hearts
and my prayers were for all of you and especially Eli. May God continue
to bring you peace as you depend on Him for all of your needs. God Bless
you all, Angela

I am so
very sorry to hear about Ben, I just checked your site last week and I
have continued to pray for him. Us as a St. Jude family and just one
month ago lost our beautiful daughter Maleiah, 13 years old to a brain
tumor. Can sort of understand where you are comming from. It has to be
the toughest thing a Mom and Dad can go thru. You always think your
children bury you, not you your children. This is just not suppose to
happen. They have to learn more about these tumors. We have to cling to
God, and live life in a way that we will all be reunited with them one
day. May God Bless Each of You and Eli, I have a 7 year old son also,
and it is very hard on them to. If you ever want to talk with someone
who knows your pain, please feel free to call. 601-656-5986 We will
continue to keep you in our thoughts and more especially in our prayers.

Just
wanted you to know the day care kids and I sent 6 balloons to the sky
today (even though it wasn't supposed to be possible with the snow
falling hmmm)... filled with our love and notes about Ben's story. One
of the little girls smiled and said Happy Trails Ben and the other kids
said yeah he will now. We love you and pray for always. Feels Like Home

Being a
parent I sit here with tears reading the posted messages for your
family. I cannot even being to imagine the hurt you are feeling, but
also I know you are happy for the time that God let you have Ben. He was
a special little angel that God saw fit to take home. His story has
touched me so much. I know your life was full of love, happiness and
much pain and sorrow too. It is hard to understand why little one's have
to suffer but God has a reason for all, just always believe that and
always trust in God. My prayers are with you and Ben will live on
always!

Tom,
Jenifer, & Eli, Our hearts just breaks for you, during this short time
of seperation from your little angel Ben. We pray that you will receive
the comfort and peace that your family needs. Jenifer was such a help to
us with our daughter Courtney, when we needed it. And Tom I will never
forget the message you spoke about "The Life Rope"! I pray that we all
could be able to hold onto that "Life Rope" and believe the way that you
and Jenifer has! I wish there was something I could do or say to show
how much your faith and Bens courage has touched my life. We will
continue to pray for you, and wait for that time we can see Ben again in
heaven. I think Ben & Hanna has been rocked to sleep tonight in our
heavenly father's arms! Believing and praying. Good Night! Ronnie &
Melissa, & Courtney Whittington.

Tom &
Jennifer, As you have been since I first heard about you all last
spring, you and yours will continue to be in my prayers and thoughts. I
have read and followed Ben's story - you all have been such a blessing
to me and my family. I couldn't agree more - Ben's story was, and will
continue to be, more than any of us can fathom. During his short time
here, he allowed God (through him) to touch more lives in a more
profound way than any of us can ever hope to do. I can only hope to be a
willing vessel to be used of God and make each day that God gives me
count. You see, Ben's story has taught me this lesson and so much more.
Two years ago, my 16-year old son, Adam, had a brain tumor removed. It
wasn't the same kind as Ben's. In fact, we had been led to believe that
it was probably a "harmless lesion" by the doctors here in Charleston.
However, due to the severity and frequency of his seizures, we sought
help from the good folks at the Cleveland Clinic. It turns out that the
tumor was actually malignant. Our
